Review of chapter "Chapter Twenty" from MBB
Review:
I hope this story is only forgotten but not abandoned - you're late for your yearly update. :-)
I'm a little surprised that you enrolled only one Hufflepuff, their attitude about the power of the collective should be well-suited for covens and other collective wandless magic. And ' new' or minor characters would be a nice change from the other fics an keep focus on Willow and Snape. But I can understand the desire to stick to canon characters and keep the OC's low.

Review:
While I am not normally a fan of Snape stories, this one is different. Perhaps it's the internal pov, but the change/growth/interpretation of the character seems natural, rather than shippish or forced.

Also, this story nicely avoids 'superwillow' without ignoring her cannon powers and limitations.

I hope this story is still being developed, but it is worth the read as is.

Brilliant story. Believable Snape. Willow is a confusing mix of cleverness, arrogance and self-doubt, which I think captures her quite nicely. I like how you've mixed the two worlds, which agree in tone, motifs and other lit-crit ways, but mix like oil and water on technical stuff.

Absolutely amazing story, this is by FAR the best interpretation of Snape that I have EVER read. I specifically love that you have him compare Willow and Lily, it makes so much sense.
I hope that you continue to write this story, it has awesome potential!
Keep up the good work :)

I love this. You didn't just change characters but had them grow as people. I hate stories wherr people act out of character but youve had them slowly do things because of motivation. I cant wait to see how it ends.

Review:
Fantastic story. I loved the level of openness you maintain about your characters, and the rate at which you revel new information. Specific points, like those gifted in wandless magic (specifically Filch), Harry's blood protection, and Willow's crazy fizzling magic are also awesome. I hope you come back soon!

Review of chapter "Chapter Twenty" from Rune
Review:
In the books Snape is evil.
What is his excuse for being a waste of space before Tom returned?
There is no excuse or reason.

However....

Its always fun to try to redeem a character, fanfiction does better at this than JKR did when she killed Albus dumber than a door and then "redeemed" Snape later.

Things to think about, can Willow remove the dark mark, can she see to it that all who have taken it except Snape suffer and die, the rot called "purebloods" in the wizzy world is deep and pervasive, can she help cut it out, the ministry is corrupt beyond belief can anything be done besides just killing them all, with the slayer scythe Willow could affect all potentials all over the world what could she do to wands with the Elder Wand, make it impossible to cast Obliviate or Unforgivables?

Don't respond, just please write more, Thanks.

Review:
Sorry about reviewing so late. A fantastic chapter.
Snape realising the intensity of his protectiveness and feelings for Willow, Albus' humour, the mention of Argus Filch, Willow repeatedly checking on Snape and his unaccustomed patience with her intrusions, Snape's maneuvering of Draco and his perception of Draco's reactions, and in fact every word from Severus Snape's POV was a delight to read.
But still, the very best of the entirely perfect chapter?
^
(Willow, to Severus:) "...do you actually plan assignments for your classes, or do you just wait until someone pisses you off and then wing it?”
And that was most certainly teasing. “Both,” he finally said, biting back a sharper retort. Perish the thought that flagrant incompetence should result in punitive class assignments.

LOL. Looking forward to the next chapter. Thanks for a great read. :)

Review:
Another two amazing chapters! I know I've said it before, but I'm really enjoying this story. All of the characters just seem so real; you really have their speech patterns down perfectly. If I had to complain about one thing, it's that we seem to get a LOT of Snape's mental insights about Willow, but her own internal thoughts seem to be focused elsewhere, usually. It seems obvious that there's a pairing waiting to happen here, or at the very least an obsession of Snape's. Still, it would be interesting to know more about what Willow thinks of their unique dynamic.

Thank you so much for writing. I look forward to reading what comes next!

Hurrah for another update! Reading the situations from Severus' and Willow's point of view has been really fascinating.
I guess I shouldn't be too surprised that Ron didn't test well as a wandless magic user. It'd be rather ironic, however, if Neville turned out to be a force to be reckoned with in the wandless world--along with Argus.
Looking forward to your next chapter.

And another update already. You ahd more competiontion from other writers this week, but I found time to read it :-P

Seriously, it's a nice chapter, even though not a lot happened. But setup-chapters are importand too. And I can see Willow popping in every few hours. :-)

I'm looking forward to Buffy-Willow interaction, though i'm curious how she'll be able to fit in a magic world. (Potterverse spells are like bullets, and there's a reason Joss kept guns out of his world)

Kind of surprised that you had all 3 gryffindor friends join the group; i'd expected you to use a subset of them. (I don't remember if you wrote about testing them earlier).

Also, I keep expecting Willow to write a homework assingment for them to write a way to end the world- and then share them with a group to find 5 ways to stop those plans.
But I can see that it's too agressive a move for the Willow you are portraying this far into the story - it wouldn't be very good bait.

Review:
An outstanding chapter!

That last scene with Severus and Willow was rather moving; you're certainly pulling on their dark guilt over their respective pasts very well.

Looking forward to more...
