Wonderful story. I love Faith stories and this was a good one. Sigh. If only the series could have given the Chosen Two the relationship you show them developing.

Random request - even if this is non-AU/supposed to return to the original storyline - leave us in the final chapter on an upbeat, please. I wouldn't even mention it, but I've been scarred by one too many Buffy/Faith stories that ended something like: "... and that's why they hated one another forever, even though they were so close to something else." If it isn't AU, let the final return to hating happen off-screen, since your story will probably get me emotionally committed to the relationship.
