The summary is a line from Once More With Feeling (you know, the musical Buffy episode). About two-thirds of the way through the episode, when Spike brings one of Sweet's minions to the Magic Box, Anya says the bit about underworld child bride deals, since the minion told them Dawn summoned Sweet and is taking her away to be his bride.
The "Well, maybe once," part is what inspired this ficlet. I took a few liberties with the Labyrinth, making Sarah part of an unknown child bride deal, but I didn't think it was *that* confusing.
I hope this explanation cleared it up.
