Review of chapter "Sword? What Sword?" from Letomo
Review:
You mention there may be a sequel, and I'm hopeful that there will be! It's an interesting take on the story, where Harry isn't the focus, but the more underused and interesting character of Michael is. As a Christian, I liked his characterization in canon, and you showed him admirably. Thanks for writing!

Review:
I recently finished reading through the Dresden Files books, so I decided to take a spin through the TTH Dresden xovers.
I have an idea for who Dresden can give Fidelacchius to. Who better to wield a Sword of the Cross than a White Knight? Hell, you could even work in something about Xander being called "The One Who Sees" and a Wizard's Sight.

I look forward to reading more in this crossover universe, whenever you get time to write it.
Comments from author:
My muse keeps bumping my shoulder about it so it may be sooner that I'd like, but we'll just have to wait and see.
Thanks! Pol

How in bloody blue blazes did I miss this?! *glaums onto story* I'm really enjoying what you've got so far and am greatly anticipating the rest! *chortles with glee*
Hmmm...would the recipient of the smoochies perhaps be a certain White Court vampire? With Buffy's penchant for vampires, it would definitely be true to type and it would also be interesting if Slayers were immune to their effects and powers.
Also, THANK YOU for not giving Xander the sword. Just...an entire world of no.
Edited to reword in case there was an inadvertent spoiler for future chapters for those not familiar with the books.
Second Edit: *claps both hands over mouth and bounces* OMG, wait'll you finish book seven (Dead Beat)!!! Heeeeee!!!!!! And as far as the smoochies go, yay for Harry! He's long past due. *sends you virtual cookies and chocolate for this story*
Comments from author:
Hey darlin'!
I never even thought about you know who. Lol. I'm just now starting to read the sixth book and the startling revelation of just who he is. I'm afraid it'll have to be Harry who will have to settle for the smoochies. *sigh* ;)
And you know my feelings about Xander. No, I have definite plans for who that sword will go to. Now if only I can get my muse to latch onto a prompt from the drabble community to further this fic....
This is interesting. I am looking forward to seeing where you go with this.
Comments from author:
I'm kind of letting the muse play in this world when she feels the need, and if the challenge prompt speaks to her. She's turned back to Stargate for the moment so poor Harry is kind of being left hanging, but I'll return. :D

As I was about to review, I did notice this should be haiku
why should I not try to at least attempt review in verse or haiku
Thus I find myself re-reviewing my last chapter's review
I say more clearly I meant no offense, truely keep up the good work!
(I suck at poems) (My Haikus are even worse) (but at least I tried)
Comments from author:
:D It's okay. I just wasn't sure. That's the hard part about the written word compared to the spoken, so much nonverbal info is lost. The review just happened to come when I was receiving quite a bit of not so nice reviews and I probably read more into it than necessary.
And hey, my rhyming sucks beyond all belief, so the fact you went for it is amazing to me. :D

It is unfortunate the PTB decided to give the axe to ol' Paul, but I suggest you merely go the Library (it's a building where they have books (an archaic device made of paper (wood pulp sheets used for writing on) for storing knowledge)) to find the original adventures of Paul.
That being said, the beginning of this fic has a fair bit of promise, so I hope you do continue :)
Comments from author:
Short chapters cause they're written as drabbles for the TtHdrabble community on LJ. Which also means my muse is dependent upon the prompts.
And um, as for the rest, I'm not sure if I'm to feel insulted or not. Especially considering this is based on the book verse, which means I've read the books, or at least the first five. And I'm older than what you probably think, so yes, I do know what a library is.
More please. I love Harry and fear that SciFi channel has dropped him, so it would be wonderful if he could live on here.
Thanks so much, BB

I'm disappointed that they cancelled the show as well. I really liked it. I love the books more, but the show was good, too. (I saw the show before the books which may have helped)
Thanks! Pol

*nudges* You can't end it there! What happens next? Will there be smoochies? (you had to know that question was coming) Theses are wonderful sweets and make me itch to start reading that series as well...I'm gonna need another bookshelf.
You do know that it's amnesty week on TtHdrabble right? And you can pick any prompt from 00-34? *innocent smile*
Comments from author:
I might be bribed into including smoochies somewhere along the line..... ;)
And you soooo need to read these books. They are fabulous.
I've never read the Harry Dresden books but I love your stories. I really like this one, too. Harry not knowing about the slayer was kind of cute. I can't wait to see what happens next.
Comments from author:
:D Harry seems to be clueless about a lot of things in the books, so I didn't see it as much of stretch for him to be clueless about the slayer too.
You should so read the books. If you saw the series, it was good, but the books are waaay better.
Thanks! pol
