Is it wrong that a part of me wants Dru to come back in a few years and turn him? 'Cause Dexter human is scary. Dexter as a vampire would be downright terrifying. Either way this was a fantastic melding of the two worlds and you always do Drusilla so very, very well. *is jealous*

Nice one - not sure she'd let him live, but since she does seem to appreciate violence it works for me.

In her own twisted way, Dru didn't kill Dexter for the same reason Spike didn't want to end the world. The world is a much more interesting place with him in it.

I think that of the stories of yours I've read this is my favourite. Of course that could be because I love the show Dexter.

Thanks! I'm not sure I got the voice down exactly since the show usually uses first person narrative, but this is what worked for me.
