This was a fabulous story- your characterizations are so spot on, and you have a real way with phrases. I've never seen Highlander, but still enjoyed the fic. Kudos!

Great job! I'd actually love it if you continued the series, but I can see this as a good ending too. I love the way you brought things out in the open and especially loved Amanda trying to do Thanksgiving. :)

This is (has been?) a fun story to read. You write the characters in a realistic way and yet the two 'verses work so well together.

Your description of the Thanksgiving dinner that wasn't made me laugh. Like many people, I also made the mistake of not letting the turkey thaw long enough the first year I made Thanksgiving dinner. Unlike Amanda and Dawn, however, I knew not to just turn the oven up higher. So, the turkey wasn't burnt, but we didn't eat until after nightfall. :)

Dawn's recital of Buffy's disasterous birthdays was funny. At first, I thought you'd missed the Zombie attack, but after discussing it with the resident Buffy expert, I realized that the zombie attack occurred during the ill-advised "welcome home" party Buffy's so-called friends threw for her.
