I just finished reading the entire story in one go... It was great. Fun. Super. One of the better stories around, "Perfect 10." You managed to very nicely fit Buffy's world into Star Trek type of story... I have feeling that if the series(ST: Enterprise) wanted to include vampires in their world it would look almost exactly as you wrote it ^_^.

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. Sadly, ENT won't include anything in its storyline ever again (oh, that cancellation was heartless), let alone vampires (heh, and wouldn't that be fun), but I'm glad you think I managed to fit one universe into the other so well. Thanks again.

All right, I admit it: I was withholding judgment till I saw how you ended it. :) Your characterizations were really well thought-out, especially Trip and Malcolm...visions of Tucker/Reed slash have been in my head since the show started. (Sometimes with a side of Archer thrown in for good measure, heh heh.) The plot was excellent and I truly enjoyed the entire story, though I felt the rescue of Trip seemed a little rushed...but what action scene doesn't feel rushed, really? All in all, nice work. :)

Thanks, I'm really glad you liked it (and there's nothing wrong with withholding your judgment :-)) Ah yes, the Tucker/Reed dynamic - I wasn't aiming for slash; I'd like to think the fic is firmly in the 'kinky gen' category ;-) About the whole rescue being rushed - I don't think it was, but maybe I lack the distance. Actually, it's quite possible that in a couple of months I'll sit to re-read and edit the chapter. Now, I'm just glad the story is over - a year with it is enough. Thanks again for sticking with the story to the end and especially for reviewing.

Malcom was pretty arrogant. To think that a mere regular vampire can easily take a slayer. SO called "combat skills" or not. Now of course most slayers are not as good as buffy was, but they still are stronger then normal vampires and their skills have been passed on down for thousands of years. And if this slayer has been able to survive for at least a year or so, she will be much better.

It's totally canon, though, including the bookcase. Besides I'm guessing that kind of arrogance may be characteristic for new vamps - they're young and stupid (not in the intellectual sense, more like inexperienced). Plus, Buffy in "Helpless" didn't have her full powers, so Malcolm could actually do some serious damage to her. Thanks for reviewing.

Interesting... not a Star Trek fan here, so no idea who this Malcolm is, but I'm curious to see what's next.

In that particular BtVS episode the character was actually named Blair but since he looked like Reed, talked like Reed and moved like Reed, I just changed the name to suit the story and another universe :) Thanks for the review.
