This story should have been continued. Having the real Buffy show up would have been very interesting or Dawn showing up and reluctantly dragging the Buffy-Bot away.

This is funny as all hell, and your Buffybot is great! I especially liked the last line about the demons, since it is just the last thing that the Numbers crowd expected to hear from a robot.

So funny! Hope you update soon, it would be really great to see the Numb3rs team's reaction to the really Buffy as well as Spike since they are picturing a Balding, Joe Shmoe character. Please give us more soon:)

What a wonderful surprise, to see more of this story! Loved the bit about Larry's response to the probable purpose for which Buffybot was created, and can't wait to see what the gang will make of her little revelation about Demons.

Thank you for reviewing. There's more confusion in store for everyone involved in the next few chapters, hope you'll like them too. :)

Loved how Larry was offended about Spike using such an advanced piece of technology for sex. Loved the reactions of the rest of the team to Buffy-bot's answers.
More please.

This is just so funny; the Buffy-bot is perfect! You've really managed to catch her voice, and her bright perkiness. Good character-interaction all around. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks. The Buffybot has a weird easy-hard to write thing going on, and I'm glad I seem to be getting her right. The character interaction was the really hard part, since I was juggling quite a few characters there, good to know I pulled it off.
I am so glad you decided to continue this. Great chapter! (doesn't the FBI investigate kidnappings or did you just mean Don's team isn't tasked for it?) Looking forward to more!

Thank you, glad you liked it!
I think the FBI tend to only cover crimes that happen on federal land, high profile stuff including kidnappings, crimes involving pirated movies and so forth, crimes that cross state lines, and crimes involving fake money. I'm sure there's more, I'm just using what sort of things they cover in NUmb3rs as a guide, and to me it seems that your "normal" kidnapping would be a case for the police. Since the FBI are called in when an undercover agent of theirs is killed, an FBI consultant getting kidnapped has some grounds for the FBI to get involved but he's not an agent or a direct employee so they aren't /really/ responsible for him. But he's Don's little brother so to hell with jurisdiction, ay?
