Review:
a sequel would be great, Faith joins the X-Men --imagine her and wolverine beating up some hapless demon / mutant. hm, Boston, I wonder if Faith has heard of Emma Frost's academy...might be funny if a relative went to it...
Comments from author:
Thanks for the suggestion. I don't know if I'll go there or not. I would need alot more X-men background to make it believable.
Thanks for reading.

Review of chapter "Show Me Yours - I'll Show You Mine" from MasterIronBlade
Review:
I was re-reading through the fic, when I came upon a little statement in this chapter. A statement that made completely outrageous claims about the actual physical capabilities of a slayer. Your story claims that the two slayers are at least as strong as Rogue. I have to say, that is THE MOST RIDICULOUS THING I HAVE EVER HEARD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!! Rogue has the ability to lift 80 TONS, and while a slayer is most definitely quite stronger than a normal human, they are most certainly no where near strong enough to lift 80 TONS.
Comments from author:
Granted, that statement was a little more exagerated than it needed to be. Slayer strength is greater than a vampire and seems to increase over time, but your right, I don't see Buffy picking up cars and throwing them around.

Thank you

Review of chapter "Best Laid Plans of Scoobies and Man" from Cutiepie
Review:
So this takes place between the time that Magneto pulled out the adamantium out of Wolverine and when Apocolypse re-bonded him? Interesting choice, considering most people who are likely to read this would be unaware of those events and only know Wolverine with the adamantium skeleton via the movies or the animated X-Men series.

Still, I am entertained by your story and will continue to read as you update.

Review of chapter "Best Laid Plans of Scoobies and Man" from MasterIronBlade
Review:
Slayers do not have the inherent ability to shield their thoughts. Even if they could, Jean Grey would have detected such shielding and either circumvented it, or simply would have not bothered to try and read their minds.
Comments from author:
Point taken. I was thinking more along the lines of Slayers being able to resist a Master vampires mind control.

Thanks again for the corrections

Review of chapter "Old Places and New Faces" from (Past Donor)mpop
Review:
Wolverine's claws are made of a metal called adamantium not bone so it's a bad idea to get him in range of magneto.
Comments from author:
The claws were originally bone according to the Marvel website. Logan was captured and the adamantium was fused into his bones as an experiment. Then in 1993 the adamantium was ripped from his body by Magneto but the claws remained. The accelerated healing and retractable claws were his original powers.

Thanks for reading.........

It's "Cyclops," not "Cyclopes." Drop the "e" from the name.

Already did, starting in chapter three, but thanks for the correction...

Review of chapter "Friends or Rivals" from AllenPitt
Review:
for a second there I thought one of the scoobies would be outed as a mutant (Willow is suspiciously good at magic, and that floating pencil thing might have been TK )--anyway--the mansion. Now that's just adding insult to injury.
Hm, Oz might be related to the Green Goblin (last name "Osborne" ) ---
Comments from author:
Oz related to the Green Goblin is actually a good idea. It would work really well with a spiderman crossover. I can already see Faith putting the moves on Black Cat.................

Review:
Just picture Magneto getting vamped. He'd be way powerful & weird... hm, I suppose the mayor might contact him, but more likely Wilkins is laying low & hoping nobody notices him until it's too late---
Comments from author:
I don't think Magneto would be too happy having a demon take over his body.
Mr. Mayor really doesn't care what's going on in his town so long as it doesn't interfere with his plans.

Review of chapter "Show Me Yours - I'll Show You Mine" from Dargos
Review:
I agree with everything JediLaSombra said.

Cyclops has dealt with far more formidable beings than vampires.

This was just an attempt to make slayers look good by making two X-men look bad.
Comments from author:
I tried to explain my take on the points JediLaSombra made (which were probably valid to people who are very familiar with the X-verse), but this wasn't really an attempt to lessen what the X-men are. In my view, Cyclops and Jubilee have entered unfamiliar territory. There are Vamps, demons and magic everywhere, after all it's a Hellmouth. Any soldier no matter how good at what they do, when placed in an environment totally outside their previous experience, needs time to acclimate. The better the training, the quicker the acclimation. It would be the same if Buffy and company were dropped suddenly in the middle of a mutant firefight without forewarning, they wouldn't know how to respond until they saw the mutants use their power, then devise a way to defeat it. More than likely it would involve a capture and escape scenario.

Review:
ok

One: Jubilee's powers should still be able to work with her arms pinned.

Two: Cyclops has a glove trigger for his visor so even if his arms are being held, he should still be able to blast whoever is in front or side of him.

Three: Cyclops is a better strategist than you portray him to be. He would not leave someone's side unless he knew they were good at hand to hand or powerful enough to defend themselves or at least he did before the whole merging with Apocalypse deal. Jubilee being as young as she is would not be left to stand on her own in battle.

Four: where are the rest of the X-men? I seriously doubt Xavier would send two people to deal with Magneto alone, especially if it is Magneto.

Five: if Cyke and Jubes spent anytime in the Danger Room then they should be better able to handle fighting groups of hostiles than they amateur skill shown here.

other than that, its not bad.
Comments from author:
Thanks for the input. I only know the basics of the X-world therefore-

Although Jubilee's powers would still work, I didn't think she would be able to direct them accurately enough with her arms pinned to her sides, to not cause collateral damage. Originally Jubilee was portrayed as sort of a klutz.

I've only ever seen Cyclops using his optic blast by working a control at the side of his visor. This includes the movie version. If he has a glove control it would definitely make his life easier.

Again, having just a cursory knowledge of the X-world I would think if they are good enough to wear the uniform, they would be good enough to trust in battle.

The whereabouts of the rest of the X-men will be revealed soon

I assume they are unfamiliar with the vampires of the Buffy-verse therefore unprepared for the incredible speed with which they can move (as is often portrayed here in story-land). It is not that they were not skilled enough to handle it, it was more they were taken by surprise. The previous vamps had just been standing there menacing Willow.

Thanks again for the input, I'll have to brush up on the X-verse to try and keep them more in character.

Review:
Poor Magneto, no glove for him. Though why anyone would want a glove you can never take off is beyond me. Maybe he counts on conning one of his followers to wear it, or doesn't know about the 'no take off' thing?
Willow in s2 should be capable of a little telekinesis, even if it's just floating a pencil. She's a lot like Jean Grey in a way---(modeled on her anyway)--
* Shouldn't they have sent somebody to try and get Angel? Or is he not back yet?
* I kind of hope Scott & Buffy are related, that'd just be kind of neat. And, Scott & company are going to suspect that Buffy & Faith are mutants who only think they're mystical warriors.... hm, now they know Magneto is in the area, they are likely also going to phone the Professor & ask for reinforcements--Storm & Jean & Logan at least, I'd think--
Comments from author:
Your pretty close on a lot of things.
With Magneto's power over magnetism it would not be that hard for him to open the spikes and get the glove off, granted it would hurt like hell, but he might be into that. As for the rest, some of your questions will be answered soon.
