Very nice. I like how you made Dawn the fifth element, and still kept her personality. And the explanation of the mangalores is inspired. Thanks for sharing, I really enjoyed it...

Thanks. Once I figured Dawn was the fifth element, a bunch of stuff just clicked. I had high hopes for the plot line, as there were going to be sequels where Dawn and Korben hunted down super-strong werewolves (from the two moons now orbiting the earth) and alien vampires, but I lost the muse :(
Interesting. Somewhat abrupt at times - some scenes such as the spaceship landing and taking Dawn could have been expanded to be more than a couple paragraphs - but generally good.
I look forward to see what else you do with this.

My writing tends to be less on the "expanded, expounded, and elucidated" side, and although I make a major attempt from time to time, I realize that I'm not particularly good at it. I'm stoked if a chapter approaches 1K words. I feel I'm much better at the snapshots approach...guess this means I have a problem with continuity in writing. I find it highly ironic that I write the types of stories that I don't read from other authors: not a fan of standalone shorts, and I'm death on drabbles in general.
Awesome. I've been wanting for some time to find a fic exploring the whole Dawn-as-Yog-Sothoth thing. Weaving it into The Fifth Element is just like a bonus. :D

Glad you like it so far. I can't claim credit for the idea...some author I can't recall used that plot hook as the basis for a Dawn/Illyria fic that was pretty cool. This arc of my story just uses a little of the Cthulhu bit. Part 2/story 2 (if I ever get around to it) will go into more depth about what it means for Dawn to be an Old One.

Really liking how the story is going so far. Can't wait to see the pairing really start up.
And oh! I just love how you have Dawn still speaking english as well as the divine language. Also interesting take on the hair colour. (Not exactly hard to forget Milla's 'fluro' orange hair in TFE...)
