One of the problems I have with JKR's work is the restricted point of view. Your variety was wonderfully refreshing.

It's true of most children's books: the characters are so very flat. I do like kid's books but sometimes they need a bit of interpretation to make the characters more human.

A different kind of HP story that does a GREAT job of showing the human side of Voldemort and the Death Eaters - I like this one. It's a refreshing change of perspective.

LMAO at the epilogue!!! So totally Scooby in its practice!!! you can tell Willow grew up with Xander. ;-)
And I also liked how you showed the Death Eaters aren't all completely one-dimensional. Morality is a wide spectrum of grey, with very few things simply black or white, and you portrayed this very well.

Thanks! I like the Harry Potter stories, I like children's books in general, but they do tend to make the bad guys just plain evil and humans don't really come in simple variations like that. Maybe the need to develop those extra dimensions is what makes fanfic so addictive. Anyway, thanks for the review.
