Okay, that was pretty cool. *grin* The best kind of willow centered fic is the kind where willow doesn't appear at all.

In many ways Willow's reputation is a completely different character from her actual self. It's fun to play around with, certainly. Thanks for the review.

{snicker} I love this very pragmatic side of Severus. He's my favorite character in the books. I hope your schedule and muse will allow you to write and post more chapters sometime soon. Keep up the good work. Zafaran {mailto:} zafaran {at} fastmail {dot} fm

Hee. Severus is definitely my favorite character in the books, too. He's certainly the most complex one. I'll try to get my muses interested in more but it's a bit like herding cats, alas. Thanks for reviewing. mg
good story, but i was wondering what the title means. the only word i recognice is draco, as in malfoy, and i don't think thats what you meant.

I'm glad you liked the story. The Hogwarts school is "Draco dormiens nunquam titillandus" or "Never tickle a sleeping dragon". Without knowing much Latin, I decided to remove the negation and hopefully make it: "To tickle a sleeping dragon". That being more or less what Snape hints at near the end.
Oh, my. I love it when Slytherins are Slytherins. Hedging his bets, indeed.
It would be interesting to see Willow from this new Slayer's point of view. Are you planning on continuing?
Thank you so much for sharing.

Thanks for the great review. This was actually a one-shot that I wrote some time ago and finally decided to post here, and it hasn't developed further yet. On the other hand, my muses can be fairly arbitrary, so who knows?

Thanks! This was my response to the many, many, many "Willow goes to Hogwarts" stories. Many of them are really good and I like them, but dear lord there are a lot of them.

can i just say that i totally love it! the arguements used totally make sense for not wanting willow in the war. but i do think she would bust in their herself just cause she could, especially if she took a student from that world, you know saving the world bizz and all that jazz. again just saying love it!!!

I'm glad you liked it. And yeah, I can see Willow being drawn in by a student who cares deeply about it, but I think to her, Voldemort is just one more evil wizard. At least he's not trying to become a giant snake demon.
