Thanks, man. Glad to hear it :D
I still read it, but I think the new books aren't anywhere near the quality of the originals. Mundania, Xanth and the Gourd and a few fringe places like the Moon and Hell are enough for me. Having a chain of worlds and might-have-beens available makes the series feel kind of flat.
I recommend his Virtual Mode and Blue Adept books as well, with the same caveat that later entries tend to be lower in quality.
this was lovely. i've been reading xanth books since i was in the fourth grade, so i was thrilled to see a complete cross here!

Thanks :)
When I read them, I drew pictures to show my grade-school teachers and they thought I was strange, especially when I showed them the one with the 'cat-as-trophe'. In junior high I did a series of cat-bird, cat-fish, monkey-shines, tiger-shark, etc., pieces, using those 'Draw 50 Animals' books and they wound up being hung in the local public library for a few months.
So, yeah, the books make me happy too and have been doing so for a long time :)

I can't believe you only managed to work one stinker into the whole mess. While that double pun at the end was truly heinous, what kind of Xanth fan are you, to only do it ONCE?!? =P

Fun! I'm not familiar with the Xanth series, so I don't really know the world at all, but it was definitely a fun fic. I loved Giles' glasses comming to life.
Great job. I love this challenge, isn't it fun? I've done one myself, and am thinking of doing another.
