Review of chapter "Chapter 10" from WhippingDawn
Review:
Not through yet, but I love that new story, and I plan to read a lot more from you after this series!

One thing:

1. A person or thing from Belgium is called Belgian.

I know because I'm one. :)

Back to Chapter 11!
Comments from author:
Thank you for clarifying the detail about Belgians. I should know this - I'm half Belgian on my mom's side. It's just unfortunate that they've forgotten so much of their heritage. It would be neat to know more about where that side of the family came from. :)

Review:
I'm sure this is the best BtVS/HP crossover I have ever read, not that I have read that many, HP really doesn't appeal to me. You however have made this crossover work so good, amazing that you have so few reviews cause it's a great story. Good with the action, mystery and not hit too hard with the romance part. I especially liked the way you mentioned Angel/Buffy but didn't play it up too much. Angel is my least favorite character in the Buffy world, but if used just right he can be useful, I think you used him just right in this story. I liked the way you used Buffy's words to add humor to the story, she can be really funny with the things she says. I think this is the only story where Snape is portrayed in a better light, most stories make him out to be the villainous teacher that hates basically everyone.
Good ending with Buffy and Harry slowly regaining their powers. I'm sure you're going to make use of that in the next story in this series.
Thanks for posting and sharing this great story for all to enjoy.

Review:
Much more light-hearted then ToF, and I found the ending quite uplifting. It reminded me of the end of the show when all the Slayers had been activated, and Buffy was asked what she was going to do next. She just smiled and I thought I could guess what she was thinking. Live. So now she and Harry get to live like normal people. (For a while anyway!)

Also as a Buffy/Angel fan thank-you for not just dismissing their relationship, I'm aware not everybody likes the pairing but I think most people would agree that their relationship played a huge part in Buffy's life, and affected the person she turned out to be.

Well done again, and now onto the third and final part...
Comments from author:
Yes, RWD is much more light-hearted than its predecessor, and I'm delighted that you enjoyed the switch-over.

As for the B/A tie-up - I agree with your assessment. It doesn't matter whether or not people enjoyed the pairing, for you can't forget the importance that it had in her life, and how much it shaped her, and continued to shape her right up until the season finale. There was love and support when she needed it most, and then heartache, betrayal, and another nod towards the belief that everyone that she loves will leave her in the end. No matter how people feel on the relationship itself, ignoring it is tantamount to ignoring other important events and relationships that shaped Buffy through the years.

But aside from that little rant - thank you, again, for your kind review! I really appreciate it!

*applause* Bonus points for managing to work this into a tri-crossover that actually works. And yes, you do love to break Buffy, but you do try to put her back together again... mostly.

Review of chapter "Chapter 19" from (Past Donor)exiled
Review:
"So your worst fear is yourself," Ron finally murmured, noticing the way that Buffy seemed to stiffen at his side.

"That wasn't me," she returned, her voice a soft whisper. "That was the Slayer."
*******

You write the most emotionally powerful scenes of anyone I know. You put so much detail and work into your stories and then you use them to build a world--build a character--make the world and the character almost real.

Without Twist of Fate this scene would have made no sense, with Twist of Fate it was incredible. Buffy was losing the fight because she was human and had emotions/but she won the fight because she was human and hated herself. Hated what the Centre had made her into, The Slayer.

I honestly don't know if you consciously sit down and think about doing these kind of scenes or if its completely instinctual but it doesn't matter, the fact is you do produce them.

Thank you again for giving me another full afternoon of enjoyment reading your stories.
Comments from author:
You are a dream, a gem, and a gift all rolled into one. I'm a review-whore, self-admitted, and yet its these kinds of reviews that give me the fixes I need to keep writing, to keep working, and to keep putting it up for everyone to see. I cannot thank you enough for your kind, insightful words and the way that you keep searching out the deeper meanings - but I can try.

Thank you.

And BTW? Yeah - let's call it more instinctual and less plotting and planning. I write to achieve emotion as well as entertainment, and how can true emotion be plotted and planned? No, it has to be felt, and for that, it's all instinct.

Thank you.

Review of chapter "Chapter 31: Epilogue" from ANNJ
Review:
Where the hell are all the reviews? *headscratch* As usual, your story was incredible! Though you killed Gred and Feorge... I mean Fred and George! How could you? Especially when I'm reading at work. My boss gets suspicious when I start crying in the middle of my supposed sorting of staff lists!
Comments from author:
*g* Hope I didn't get you into too much trouble - and yes, I did kill off the twins. Evil, wasn't it? Then again, it was an unrealistic expectation for EVERYONE to survive a war like that - as JKR is showing us for herself!

Review of chapter "Chapter 31: Epilogue" from purrfus
Review:
Just finished and it was a wonderful read. I can almost understand the lack of reviews because after reading that story, and facing a blank white screen, my brain went numb. Sometimes its so hard to find the words, and after this kind of experience - when I'm feeling intimidated - its even harder.

There were lots of great moments but one of the sweetest is when you had the gang stop in to visit Jared and Miss Parker. Nice flashback to the HP insertion in "Twist of Fate".

Review:
Wow! This is such an amazing story. I love the quotes that you put at the beginnings of the chapters, and your characters and their interactions were wonderful. The whole thing was simply "smashing." I wish I had the skill to write a better review, but I have been up all night reading your fic because it was simply too good to stop (and you had those dreadful cliffies there in the last handful of chapters anyway). It has been most pleasurable, even if I will pay for it tomorrow. Thanks so much for being such a great writer!
