Ooh, lovely! What a fantastic universe pairing... that John Connor destroys Skynet by launching the EMP that created the post-pulse world of Max and other Dark Angel friends. How strange that the world that they so despise is a heavenly place compared to the world that John Connor saved them from. Very well placed!

Very interesting. I've never watched DA, but this is a very plausible explanation to tie-in the two realms.
Great job. And I really liked the added John/Cameron element. It wasn't overbearing, but it was genuine and I'm glad that Cameron got to experience one last human element.

I'm not John/Cameron shipper - at all - but it just seemed right that he shared that moment with her. I keep thinking Cameron might be one of the things that holds him back from utlimately destroying Skynet. Though we both know my thoughts tend to go towards the twisted. ;)
Glad you enjoyed this if even you didn't watch DA. I'm partial to the first season of the show 'cause the second turned to monster of the week for me but it did have Jensen. Can't go wrong with Jensen.
I'm not actually sure it would work. There will be some places that ARE protected from even that big an EMP, and military research would be one of them. But it would give them more time, since that would wipe out the "wild" Skynet virus.
I can also see the connection to Dark Angel.
Hopefully they got every single copy of Vista....

What solution is there? According the third Terminator movie Skynet isn't something they can stop. They never had a chance at stopping it - just postponing.
According to the research I did there hasn’t been a Faraday cage that can protect against a massive electromagnetic pulse from a nuclear fallout or an E-bomb created yet. Perhaps there will be one by June 1, 2009 or perhaps not but this story is feasible or at least not any less feasible than robots attempting to destroy mankind or bio-engineered children. ;)
