Review of chapter "Suprises" from Angelform
Review:
Not a bad story.
The tale itself isn’t all that impressive but the insights are interesting.
Comments from author:
I know that it's not that impressive, it's one of the reasons why I stopped writing it. After a while the flaws became all too obvious and my heart just wasn't in it anymore.

Review of chapter "A Moment Of Calm" from williamstarr
Review:
This is a lovely lovely story. Well written and enjoyable. Despite the fact that the only main character I recognized was Molly, I'm thoroughly enjoying it. Kudos to you, and thanks.

Review of chapter "A Moment Of Calm" from DarkGoddess
Review:
I don't really have much in the way of con-crit to offer, but it was a nice chapter. I have to admit it was a refreshing change of pace. I still love the main story to death (though I have to say I may be beginning to prefer Scourge of Time), but it has some moments were it becomes a little...well I'm not sure what the right word would be, but I think you get the idea.

As for the characters in this chapter, I know who Spirit is and I'm almost certain Mason is from Dead Like Me. As for the others, I'm a bit stumped. Keep up the nice work.
Comments from author:
Correct on both counts. As for the other characters, Molly is one of the Potentials from S7 and the others are just OC's, although Ruben was a sort of DLM homage, well his name is anyway. Damon and siblings owe their existance to my sense of humour, i.e. consider how Spirit is with one kid and then consider that he's now got three of them, four if you count Ruben. Heh heh heh.

Review of story "Halloween World: World Wide Weird" from DarkGoddess
Review:
Sorry to hear that you've hit a wall. I know how that feels. Unfortunately, my pool of reference is mostly taken up by the main story or its fairly obscure as well. I find it helpful to look around TV Tropes, especially sections like I Am Not Making That Up. Other than that, I recommend just writing what you know, even if a good deal of your readers might be unfamiliar with it. As for including Buffverse characters, might I suggest an appearance by Glory or the First? Spaceman hasn't dealt with those two particular Big Bads and it doesn't seem like he intends to include them anytime soon so I would say they're free game. They wouldn't have to be in any official capacity as main villains, but I can see the chaos magic working to their advantage. There's also the Immortal, who would probably be somewhere in Europe at the time. I would also suggest Twilight from the Season 8 comics, but it's hinted that he is someone from Buffy's past so that one might not be such a good idea. I also have this plot bunny you might be able to integrate into your story about all of the past Slayers being resurrected (either intentionally or unintentionally) and forming an army. There are also various Slayers (who would only be Potentials at this point, but with the Halloween spell who knows what could happen) from Seasons 7 and 8. Genevieve Savidge comes to mind almost immediately, especially if you were to dress her up as some kind of evil princess or noblewoman.

I hope some of that was helpful ^_^
Comments from author:
Nothing's instantly clicking but that's not unusual. I'll give the ideas some time to percolate and see what happens. I don't think I'll deal with Glory or the first, except maybe in an intro, since the former is probably in the US (Ben has been sharing his body from birth after all), and I don't really know what to do with the latter, not least because I didn't watch much of S7 (I'm tempted to consider everything after S5 to be Discontinuity). I think I could probably get away with the Potentials though since any errors regarding characterization can be explained by them being younger and HW induced trauma. I've already got one Potential in there but no one seems to have noticed. Thanks for the suggestions.

Review of chapter "Blood and hope" from DarkGoddess
Review:
Ooh, questing for a young maiden. I can't wait to see how that turns out.
Comments from author:
Heh. Nero is definitely the consistant type. In the game his main (maybe even his only) motivation was 'protect Kyrie'. The way I see it, not even ending up in another world would change that (although his protective side has found an additional outlet, thanks to a nudge from the former John Brand's memories). One thing's for certain though, it's not going to be straight forward.

Review of chapter "Everyday Chaos" from spaceman
Review:
Love it. Hope you write more soon. The name for the Spanish colonies was interesting.

An Interesting Point for Halloween World.
After the Event, People who were not changed are still changing. Normal for Pre-Event doesn't stay normal. Eventually everyone will have at least one of the following

magical powers (mage and magical creatures)
spiritual powers (Shinigami/Shamans)
mutant powers (mutant/meta-human/superhero style powers)
psychic powers (Espers to Jedi)
martial arts abilities (super ki manipulating martial artists and chakra manipulating ninja)
Youkai powers (demonic abilities)
Technological powers (the ability to create and use advance technology like Sparks in the web comic Girl Genius)
summoning skills (the ability to summon monsters/creatures to help. ie. Pokemon/Digimon/Shadow Dragons)

Hope this helps.
Comments from author:
Interesting. Looks like I got it right in chapter three after all. Hmm, I wonder what I should stick Kieran with. Regarding the name for the Spanish and Italian colonies, it just seemed appropriate. Thanks for the review.

Review of chapter "Inferno" from speakerforthesilent
Review:
A very good chapter. I don't know jack about English geography, but as an American, it occurs to me that the isles have always been associated with the Fey. I suppose you could also do something with Arthur and his Knights. Then there's Dragons and Banshees as well. *shrug* Maybe you can make use of one of those.
Comments from author:
Most of that stuff is either further down south or connected with the more Celtic bits. Considering we're such a small country, the regional variations in folklore are pretty extensive. Then you get places like Glastonbury that have folklore and legends up the wazoo. I've currently got a vague plan of varying the weirdness from one region to another (hence the wandering around) but it'll take a fair bit of research. To Wikipedia!

Review of chapter "Inferno" from Aesop
Review:
Good story. I like the characterization and the way you handled the confrontation between the step-brothers and those thugs. Am I right in thinking they're former Watchers Council operatives? The hints you dropped and the fanaticism seems right. It should be interesting to see how things develop.
Comments from author:
Got it in one. It'd be over optimistic to imagine that the whole lot of them got wiped out. The main body of the Council may have been destroyed with the rest of London, but there'd still be a few field operatives, Watchers training potentials, and one or two 'wet works' crews hanging around somewhere. Whether or not they'll last long is a different matter altogether.

Devil May Cry, eh? I'd like to see more of this. Keep up the good work:)
Comments from author:
Yep. Don't ask me why, it just sort of fell into place. There was another crossover but it was more of a reference. I'll add more as and when I think of it.

Review:
I love this little addition. It contradicts nothing in my universe, so the chances of it being Fanon is good. Hope your write many more chapters and review as well.
Comments from author:
My first review, and a good one at that. Go me. *grin* Glad you liked it. As for new chapters, they'll be added as and when my imagination feels like co-operating.
