Oh frilly heck and I do mean frilly, that french ponce is going to be in this story? This is a development that took this long to update? No, sorry I'm not a fan of ma petit this and ma petit that I'll just keep reading and reviewing if you don't mind.
I'll echo Anita on this ending, "Say what?" {blink} Want to know more, pretty please. This is a fascinating twist. And I can't wait till things settle down and they start testing her for school placement. Are you going to allow her to test out of the lower grades and work at her true level? Child geniuses aren't *that* rare, and having to re-do elementary and high school is going to be so *utterly* boring, especially after the type of research she's been doing with Giles that included arcane texts and who knows how many languages. I hope your muse and schedule will allow you to write and post more chapters sometime soon. Keep up the good work. Zafaran {mailto:} zafaran {at} fastmail {dot} fm

Lol! Loved JC's last line. Now that is a cliffhanger. I really like your story and can't wait to see Tara bond with Anita's family. The funny thing is, as long as Tara 'can't remember' where her home actually is, all she has to do is tell the truth. Her mommy died and her father was an evil bastard who abused her. 'Nuff said. Now I want more of your nifty story.

Jean Claude will adopt? I'd love to see that court case.... I'd imagine Tara would be a little bit wary of a vampire, too....based on past experience. Good thing she can read auras. Hm, I wonder if there's an adult Tara M. in this universe....
