That gave me a clue as to who is Joyce's dad. I may not be right but as this is a Highlander crossover and I tried to think all male characters whose surname starts with Da...Well my guess would be Mr. Joe Dawson.

As always, a wonderful chapter. I liked it. It was kind of sad that "Buffy" was remembering the death of her daughter/mother... Poor Buffy, always alone; always the one left behind.

That - the lonliness - is probably the only reason why Eshe hasn't declared war on the Powers. For one lifetime, however brief, she had the illusion of friends that she could count on, a mother and a father-figure who loved her and protected her... Its enough to make her almost tolerate the actions of the Powers.

should get very weird if the scoobies find out, especially Giles. He'd had enough knowledge to really appreciate the story. Hopefully Duncan will show up at some point, and be very surprised to see Buffy....

At this point, that will be left to your own imagination. I have no plans (at the moment) to carry this series too far past Glory. Most of my pre-planned plot bunnies are for stories in the past. I have one or two future stories, but they're on a small scale.

I will say that Eshe would be more than happy to do an overhaul of the Council, provided the thought occurs to her -- which so far, it hasn't. She's thought about taking them down, but she still remembers a time when they were more or less useful. And she doesn't really want to go find all the Slayers by herself... So destruction is on her mind, yes, but not rebuilding. We'll see what happens.

Weeeeell, I've been wondering how the heck you were going to twist the whole thing around to save little Joy and I can honestly say that I never saw this coming. You rock seven and a half ways from Sunday.
