In Anita Blake canon, Richard could call on all werewolves. JeanClaude could call all the vampires in his line. Narcissus (werehyena Oba) could call on all hyenas. Xander's hyena wasn't a warm flesh and blood animal. It was a primal hyena spirit. A demon. Does that mean that Xander can exert control over ALL demons? That would be handy if he stayed on the hellmouth, but what good does that do him out in the greater world (which doesn't have random rampaging demons)? I'm wondering if Xander will actually dust Angel? Or, will Willow ensoul him in time for Xander to just need to throw Angel's blood into the Acathla portal. Xander's vampire is the child of the 'Sweet Mother' who is supposed to be the originator of all vampies. That means that Xander's vampire should be both VERY old and smart. Surely he would know a way to make the soul permanent, so that Anel and Buffy can't slip and bring Angelus back.

Okay, if Willow restores Angel, will Xander know to send Angel's BLOOD through Acathla? Or, will he do what Buffy did and push Angel's whole body through? I wonder how the story would be changed if just the blood went through, and Angel had to deal with the people that he committed crimes against?
