Review of chapter "The Wolf and the Exencutioner" from GothicBianca
Review:
You totally fooled me, I swear it was Oz until I read your notes at the bottom, I realized the OC wasn't a complete shoe in for Oz. *shrugs* Not that it matters, this is still a wonderful piece of work and I would like to see it continued. I'll be checking back for updates! bye!

I have to say that it's really disappointing (and a little frustrating) that the mysterious wolf is an original character. The way you built it up (and the place where you put the story) gave me the impression that it was a BTVS character and now that it's not, it's a huge let down. I was thinking that maybe someone else got infected, like Giles or something (I thought Giles because of the tea drinking) but alas, just a mary-stu. The story up until that point was good, it had me hooked but I'm not into reading OC as main characters.

You may not realize this, but Oz does actually have a cousin who's a werewolf. His name is Jordie and he's actually the one who infected Oz. Of course, he's probably a little young to be your character. Oz called him his little cousin in season one and most people seem to think he was probably a toddler and I've always seen Anita Blake as being on the same timeframe as Buffy.

The reason why everyone was assuming that it was Oz is that you posted it in Anita Blake section (which is for BtVS crossovers with Anita Blake), not the non-crossover section. Once you did that the natural assumption was that a laconic werewolf is Oz.

Self-Insertions are stabbed in the face for the usage of Mary Sue, doubly so when the author fails to warn the readers before hand. >_<

This was really good, but I'm a bit confused. Was the intruder Oz? Or was another character infected?

Nice, I like, I like. Now, I'm sure I know who the "Wolf" is, but I liked that you didn't come out and say it, and left it up to the reader to figure out who it is.
