nice story and I really would like so see more of it. The fight against the sen. partners should be enough stuff to write and maybe you can dust Angel then :)

Great chappie. Best parts of course were Deckards and Holden's reactions and interpretations of Xander's actions. Very Good. Thanks a bunch for the story. I take it this is what caused Deckard's divorce.

Thanks for the review. I think the Deckard character internalized his emotions in the movie, I simply tried to reflect that in my little tale.

Props for a skewed and realistic look at how the war could be lost without a final battle. Sad to say that the cunning of the enemy is more like you would lay out than the overly simplified version that many of the shows would have laid out.
Funny, but even with the overall brevity of this it feels complete and doesn't leave much that gnaws at you to question. Sure you could and would like to know what happened to the others and how it all ends, but with the story you have detailed it is enough as it is and satisfies the curiousity.
Am looking forward to what else you have as if this is any example, whatever you tackle next should be just as riviting and involving. Hope the take is just as original and satisfying.
Best of luck and hope the plot bunnies bug you constantly.

Thanks for the review, and yes they do bug me constantly; I just don't have enough time to feed and care for all of them. I like the way this fic flaked out, personally I don't believe in perfect endings that tie every last plot detail up in a nice bow and that felt like what they were going for at the end of BTVS. Actually, as I was working on something else; another idea for a chapter came to me. So even though I've said this one is done, there just might be one more chapter to the whole thing, maybe.

Review of chapter "Conversations with People that Wish you were Dead" from Rhyssia
Review:
Very, very interesting. I like the fleshed out cause and effect you have going here.
I also like how Xander is dark - but also not quite. I mean, he hands out 'retirements' like they were candy, but that is also all he'll refer to them as. Not killing. It can sometimes be a way to pretend you weren't aren't as much of a killer as you are.
Comments from author:
True, I figured that being in the business of killing things that looked and acted like people would leave it's mark. But I also believe that underneath it all Xander would remain true to himself; hence the comforting of Faith. Thanks for taking the time to review.

Review of chapter "Conversations with People that Wish you were Dead" from ShyBob
Review:
Wow, talk about role reversals for characters. Your Xander's a serious guy; definitely been stepping out on the dark side. Faith's conversion seemed a little rapid, but still plausible. I'm glad he didn't have to 'retire' Faith.
Comments from author:
Thanks for the review. The way I saw it, having that sort of responsability would change anyone, and that is how I saw Xander changing. As for Faith, while she always had a volatile temper, she was accessable to reason, I don't think she so much converted as she realized that she and Xander were still on the same side.
You are truly inspired!!! This is a brilliant idea and I'd love to see more of this universe, should your muse deign to gift us with additional stories.
Did Faith ever find out that Robin was responsible for Buffy's and Giles' deaths? And if so, what was her reaction?
What is Dawn doing now? Is she out among the stars, helping the Slayers out there? What happened to the other Sunnydale survivors? Was Andrew recruited by Tyrell to help develop the replicants, since he had worked with Warren when he was developing his cyborgs? If so, what did Xander do to him for his part in Buffy's and Giles' deaths?
In any event, GREAT job!!

Thank you for the review. Honestly I always thought of this as a one and done, but all of these are interesting questions and may inspire further writing; so thanks as well for the ideas.

My BladeRunner world is askew! Of course, the Buffyverse just got cooler (and darker). This was an inspired crossover; your basic premise was carefully laid out and well supported. I'm looking forward to seeing things from Deckard's POV between the end of the story and the beginning of the movie...and seeing Xander explain how super-strong women aren't Replicants.

Thanks for the review. That's an interesting notion, I had just thought of this as a one and done but that's an idea worth exploring. Thanks.
