Strange chapter, convenient the cop just happens be in same city and yet Xander couldn't find any indication of him. convenient that he just said Devils night would prove Xander was in charge.. then Xander went and did it.

Especially convenient turn of events 'for the hero's' when before his death Xander's dad was going on about how Devi's night had lost it's touch and wasn't important any more. In fact since the whole 'vampire thing' came about 'Saint' has lost anything remotely like a brain and has done everything he used to say he wouldn't do. He wanted to become his own man, not a copy his father. He was super cautious and always thought ahead, kept a tight control on his emotions etc.

Now he's a brain dead idiot running around about how powerful he is, ignoring vampires die all the time and even the 'father' of his breed of vampires was killed as well. I know it was said before this was a 'set up' to kick Xander down but honestly the whole build up seems so fake to begin with. I wonder if it's part of the vampire power package to be dumb as stone and twice as arrogant? I mean every fledgling thinks they are a god just because their stronger then a human. Ignoring the fact hundreds of demons and other beast are still stronger then the most ancient vampire. Did not the master drop to Buffy in season one, very first 'boss' monster went down easier then Angelus or Spike did and he was supposed to be the oldest living vampire.

Yeah, I'm doing that on purpose. I want Saint to become like this so that he can have a wake up call later. Trust me, there is a method to this.

Very interesting idea though I do think most recent chapters seem to be falling off the wagon so to speak of the original plot. Xander seems to be forgetting almost everything he was taught by his father since becoming 'deacon Frost'. He lets his emotions run wild, especially during vampiric feeding and such, anger and what not quick to act.

Relying way to much on the vampiric strength instead of strength of mind and such he appreciated before. Over all he's turning into every two bit big bad with delusions of grander we usually see. SO high up on how much stronger he's then humans he forgets how still tons of people stronger then him.

Plus it just seems like he's following Blade back story a little to closely with becoming a Deacon clone.

He's become very arrogant, but that's because he needs to be humbled and the Hellmouth will do that for him.

Perhaps Charmed but I don't know enough about the show. Blade is all ready in the story ala Mercury and Deacon Frost.

God no! I will not do those fandoms for this story. It would mess everything up. Except for the girls, I really don't any reason for it.

Becuase too many overpowered characters would take away from the power of the terminators. Which will be very important. Xander while a good fighter is dangerous mostly because of his leadership, strategic mind, and charisma. It is the Terminators that are the real hard hitters. Stronger than a Slayer and there are more than one or two at a time.

Oh! Poor Willow. Maybe he'll sense her power and take her away. And OMFG is Buffy there yet? Can you imagine Xander and Buffy will they fight will she take to Xander as well as she did to Angel? So many questions! Can't wait for more!
