Fantastic! I always enjoy your brief snippets and voyages into different realms, but I especially enjoyed this one because they're was no teasing, no games, and no leaving us in the dark as to who exactly we were encountering. *laughs* Maybe that's just because you were already limited in your options.
Either way, you brought the characters to life - especially Will Smith as Robert. You handled his tentativeness, his desperation, and his stark loneliness so well that I felt as though I was watching the scene come to life. And Buffy... sad, sad broken Buffy. I can see how insanity would be easier when you were the only one immune, and how great that Buffy, the hunter, would consider how she could kill them all so easily. Even now she's the hunter, and I can't help but wonder how the virus affected the demons. Were they killed like the humans? Were a small percentage of them changed??
Well done with this one. I can't help wishing for more - something deeper, more in-depth, that could fully explore this union, but I'll try instead to be thankful for what you offered. Thank you!

Oof, I just realised the impact the impact the original ending of the movie would have on Buffy (even more than the impact it would've had on Neville). Check out youtube and wikipedia to get what I mean.
The story itself isn't too bad, though not one of my favourites. The plot seems... "too easy" if you get what I mean, though the actual writing itself is excellent.

Very interesting so far. I like the "crazy" interaction going on. Nothing like complete lack of human contact and the threat of monsters eating you every day to scramble the brain. :)
Wow, it would be awesome for a better ending to that movie. One where his dog doesn't get sick and he doesn't have to die to save the world.
Honestly, living through all that would suck beyond the telling of it. I imagine it is the worst thing anybody could endure. I am glad that they found each other now.

I haven't seen "I am Legend" yet, but I would like to despite Will Smith's presence.
I really enjoyed this ficlet. I'm not sure I'd like to read a series of this, but the interaction between Robert and Buffy is intense and interesting.
I love how he didn't sleep at all; instead choosing to stay awake all night guarding her door. And Buffy's thoughts on how she killed her sister and friends because she is immune and they weren't were really good.
