I really like your stories, and I would love for this one to go on. Although your Firefly story was just as incredible, so I'm guessing I'll just have to have patience ;) :)

Great story. It took me a minute to connect it with "Letting Go" Don't know if there is enough here to stretch into a full blown novel length story, but that's okay.

Well, technically this is a sequel to the epilogue from "Letting Go". And I likely wouldn't do a full-blown story... probably little pieces connecting the twenty five missing years between when Buffy went back to California and to when Rose Weasley was called. Though it would be nice to try a one-shot about Rose as a vampire slayer.

Rose being a slayer is an interesting idea. It might also be interesting to see how she handles it and Hogwarts and to actually see her cousin's reactions as well. Vampire Hagrid is also a very horrible thought. A nice look at life after Letting Go. I enjoyed it.

It would be interesting to see how Rose would handle Hogwarts, her brother, her cousins (I assume by this point she has MANY) as well as her friends, the professors and the Watcher's Council trying to figure out why they can't get a read on a Slayer they're told is there. I don't even want to imagine Hagrid as a vampire... I'm thinking more of a vicious Grawp.
I really can't imagine Buffy ever getting that 'old' (which is practically ancient in 'slayer years'). I'm assuming if you continue this you are going to focus on the new slayer? Hopefully you'll also give some background to cover the years between the earlier story and this one.
I'm curious about the connections between Buffy and the wizards though maybe that should be a side story?

Thank you. :)
I think the only way Buffy will ever reach middle age is for her to stop slaying. In this story's 'verse', she stopped slaying shortly before her daughter was born. It's not that she just quit being a slayer, but she works at the Watcher's Council now, overseeing everything in an attempt to reform it.
I hope to continue this story at some point, including the reason why Buffy is so interconnected with the Wizarding world.
