Review of chapter "Willow's Recap" from goldengeisha
Review:
Very nice. Wish there was more. I like your stories.
Comments from author:
Thank you. I appreciate the kind words.
Actually, I was surprised it ran for 21 chapters. Which is at least twice as long as I had envisioned it. I supposed I could have padded the chapters to make them longer, but I prefer telling the story and then moving on.
I do have lots of other stories, some on this site, and all of them on my own web site. In case you are interested, they are here --

Thanks again,
David

Review of chapter "Willow's Recap" from JoeDineen
Review:
A pity Willow cannot remember why Morgar wanted her, though I wionder would the story be better if you ended it two chapters ago?
Comments from author:
Just like Gabrielle couldn't/shouldn't remember what the future was, neither could/should the Buffy gang know what was coming when Tara was killed and Willow tried to destroy the world.
I could have ended the story with the chapter "I'm Willow, Again" but I like to wrap things up by having the characters go over the events with their own interpretations, and possible explanations. Besides, I just couldn't leave it with Dawn saying, "So what happened. And don't leave anything out."
But I do appreciate you taking the time to read and review the story.

Review of chapter "Battle On!" from JoeDineen
Review:
So now they are stuck, so research time in order. I wonder how they will go about that? Look forward to more.
Comments from author:
And now that the climax of the story has passed, the final chapters are near, and a solution no one, I hope, will see coming. {There IS a hint in in the preceding sentence, most vague, as I intended : - ) }

thanks for the review.

Review of chapter "Geography and Arithmetic" from TheatricalBarrister
Review:
So much for not leaving them alone together! This is a cute story, and very much in tune with what I remember "Xena" to be like (I haven't watched it in years).
Comments from author:
Thanks for the review. If you want to catch up on the Xena eps, you can go to the alt.tv.xena newsgroup where I have been critiquing the episodes for the past couple of years, one episode per week. Or you can go to the Google groups site -- http://groups.google.com/group/alt.tv.xena/topics?hl=en&;lnk=srg

In any case, I appreciate the review.

Review of chapter "I'm Not Gabrielle" from Wise
Review:
"She's a bit... heavy"

Not really. By the standards of our society, where anything other than 'hey look, I can see your ribcage sticking out!' is considered overweight, yes, but amongst the ancient Greeks? No. Not even close.
Comments from author:
First, let me say I wasn't criticizing women who aren't a size 2 (in fact, I prefer women who are "a bit ... heavy", and one of the reasons is the one Willow mentioned about them being soft and cuddly).
Next, you have to remember that this story is written in the context of the Xena-verse where all of the Amazons look like aerobic instructors (about the only recurring character I can recall that was a bit heavy was Minya).
And lastly, I would imagine that except for the wives or girlfirends of the more wealthy men, most of the women of the time actually had to work -- tending a garden, working in fields, or taking care of the house and children, so I doubt if they carried any extra weight.
But I do appreciate you taking the time to read the story and post your comments.

Review of chapter "Beswitched 2" from gesundheit
Review:
Very nice, but just one thing: Tara's eyes are blue. Her hair color is blonde, though she did dye it brown later on (if you're setting your story on season 5 or 6, it would be brown). Otherwise, very good indeed. I look forward to how Gabrielle and Willow are going to handle themselves. And yay for Tara not being dead. \o/
Comments from author:
Yes, when she first showed up, her hair was kind of blondish. But by S5 (about the time this story takes place) it was brown.
I never was sure what color her eyes were, but in the pictue below from OMWF they look brown -- http://www.geocities.com/daviderl31/Pictures/Tara_Sings.jpg
And they look brown in this pic of Amber -- http://www.geocities.com/daviderl31/Pictures/AmberSmile.jpg

I appreciate the review.

I found two pictures of Blond Tara ---

"Hush" is where Willow and Tara first connect.

Tara is still blond in "Goodbye Iowa", four episodes later.

Review:
Excellent story so far. Only problem I see is that ya got the wrong hair color for Tara. She's blonde.
Comments from author:
I thought so, too, but here are two pics from the show and she has brown hair. (I guess she's like all women, and changes from time to time)

I'm glad you're taking time to draw out the characters. It must be hard for Xena to accept her friend taking a potion from someone who doesn't seem to like her.

Not to be making with the spoilers or anything, but "you ain't seen nuthin' yet!"
