This is a fascinating premise, but it was *much* too short. I hope you come back and flesh it out - I want to know about the sorcerer at the beginning, the NID, how Teal'c and Jack are going to handle having two sentinels on one team. There's so much to consider!
Nice story, but I definitely want more; I have questions:
What caused Jack's senses to go on-line? I got the feeling Oz had found a home/pack in Cascade, but since you made Teal'c his guide then he will obviously be traveling back to the SGC with the others, but what's his position going to be on the team since he'll need to be near his guide? (He doesn't have a lot of physical or weapons training that I remember, or a degree in anything. If he still has computer skills, they won't be of much use on a First Contact team and would they even be up to the genius-level skills needed at the SGC?)
I'd like to know more about who/why someone turned Oz into a Sentinal - is something coming that needs more active Sentinals, or is this maybe a world-wide event to help balance the activation of all the Slayers (different sides of the same coin/ male-female / Supernatural-Natural, etc.). Since Jack is a Sentinal, does that mean mini-Jack is too (active/inactive)? If so, and if each Sentinal has a specific guide pairing, will it cause a problem that there's no cloned Daniel for him or can someone else fill the position? Do all Sentinals have the ATA gene and all Guides have a recessive/incomplete gene (can be changed with Carson's gene therapy)? If so, and if you'll be bringing some of the Atlantis crew into this, can a Guide who has had the therapy to activate their ATA gene become a Sentinal too (maybe a Beta to a natural carrier's Alpha)?
Comments from author:
Jacks senses go online in a (still being written) almost sorta drabble called P3x-whatever. . . . . .yeah, lets just say the Furlings left him a gift *nods*
The why's behind Oz are staying quiet *G* for now anyway. The guy who did it was slightly left of center- he wanted to make Oz 'pure' of his demon taint- which stripped the wolf from him.
Good idea on the Slayer/Sentinel balance, may have to work on that.
Mini Jack has the possibility of being a Sentinel if the specific gene is triggered however- he would be without a true guide since both he and Jack are alpha's. Oz got more leniency since he is a beta Sentinel- he actually got to chose his Guide *G*
I'm almost considering the ATA gene having something to do with the Sentinel. Perhaps both an ATA gene and a furling virus (heh, its a gift) which triggers the ATA gene *ponder* and snickers* I can see some rather large headaches if/when they come into contact with the Atlantis crew *G*.

Quite lovely and unexpected. Wasn't expecting Jack to be a Sentinel at all... nor T'ealc a sheild/guide. It is easy to forget that T'ealc is an over 100 year old general.

I like it. Nice mash, although it leaves alot of questions. (how and why was sg1 there? what's the deal with oz being all clingy and allknowing? why weren't the guys shirtless?)
Would love to read more.
Give it a 10 because clingy, needy Oz is actually sexy...
