Nice digest of the events that happened at the base. Hmm, does the main fic confirm or deny that the recording was ever shut off (possibly due to lack of power)?

Thank you very much for your review! The main fic will eventually mention the recording - but has not yet. (15 chapters at 43,000 + words at the moment) but it will - I am thinking perhaps in chapter 17 which we are currently writing. it is quite a long story, with many elements to address, but very fun for us to write.

I love the ending, and the repetition of what ever happened to her. I don't have time to read the rest your multi chapter of pale horse this week, but this works really well as a stand alone. It is what people who have seen zombie movies would do realistically. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you very much for the review. Yes the multi-chapter fic is quite big - and still a wip - so I understand. Glad that you are enjoying the stand alone as well. I couldn;t help it - Kate (and Faith my other stand alone in this series) needed to have their stories told.
