A very, very fun read. You could, if you wanted, leave it there and the mind could go all sorts of places with it. Or, you could add to the story and still, the joy would be the same. Nicely done.
Curiouser and curiouser. This is probably one of the better Dr. Who/BTVS crosses I've read. And probably the absolute least ridiculous way I've seen of Xander being or becoming of Gallifrey.
I've gotta say, I did not see the 'Jenny is the Doctor' coming up and until Jack approached Giles. That is an interesting twist, and definitely make me curious as to how or if that will effect the eventual rise of Angelus.
Curious to see who 'Joanna' actually worshiped. If not the Greek gods, then the Romans? Or something more obtuse like the Egyptian pantheon? I could see the humor in that, especially with SGC having made a breif cameo earlier. I suppose the 'OTG' is a possibility, especially with a 'Joan'ish name.
Anywho hoping to see more chapters come out eventually, this fic definitely looks like it's going places.

Thank you. Joanna's influenced by the 'D&D Modern' Christian 'Acolyte' template. Jenny has arranged it so she can't be raised as a vampire or regen from something that stops her hearts from beating. Since she won't be as focused on hiding her past now, very good chance they won't wind up in the same mess :) Heh. Writing Jenny as the Doctor before Sunnydale is fun. Arranging it so Ethan gets the sonic screwdriver and the locket without making Jenny do something extremely out of character is hard. Hope to bridge the gap soon.

I'd like to. I have the flow of the chapter in my head, matter of getting it down on paper and fixing some of the small details so Jenny doesn't look like a complete jerk. Glad you liked it, thanks :)

Heh, thanks. I had a thing where I wanted to post this story in chronological order - no flashbacks used as a device... So when I realized that the next scene won't give Xander enough time to talk to his friends and that he must have already talked to them when he went to get his shirt that I was either going to have to compromise on the flashback thing, go back and insert a scene or two in the previous chapter, or provide a convincing reason why Xander would travel back in time a few hours to talk to Buffy....
Ah, thanks that fixes the writer's block. All I have to do is have Xander-future be there when Xander-past arrives to talk to Buffy and hand him the clothes, send Xander-past on his way and have Xander-future have the heartwarming conversation with his friend for the first time without me having to worry about time constraints.
I appreciate the review, prompts are good for getting the mind in gear

I would guess that Jenny is the Doctor, since Giles has a pre-Sunnydale history and all we know of her is that she's a "Gypsy". Doctor can, theoretically, regenerate into a female (also other alien species). David Tennant and Mat Smith has shown particular concern about this during their regenerations. Also that wold explain why she dropped the popcorn at the surprise of seeing Jack again.

True.
I have the next chapter plotted out as well as the backstory around Jenny's arrival. I'd hit a few snags in connecting the past to the present, namely how Ethan collected the screwdriver and why the TARDIS was buried, because I don't want to go too far out of character for the Doctor, but I think I've found a solution. Still working on making it flow reasonably.

Jenny Calendar is the Doctor!? I really liked this story, especially the definition of the spell, how it wasn't summoning/creating whole personalities.
