I stumbled upon this story again after not reading it for a long time and I still get the shivers! When all seemed dark and all hope seems lost, she appears... WIth the first chapter, she is just one dark, sullied but willing to rescue. THen in the 2nd chapter she has been reinforced and still bringing hope. I hope you update this story soon!

Oh that's mean! Are you going to detail the how it moves from chapter one to two? Because I really wanted to read that. Sigh. Each chapter a cliffhanger? Where is it going to go next? And is it going to go there soon? *hint*
Still fantastic - and I'm going to have to second the great imagery of this passage:
"A small figure, coming not even to the shoulders of the Elves. A leaf-blade in each hand, wearing a gray cowl, a long tunic, and a girdle of silver stars—
Raising, now, a sword—
—and three hundred white-feathered arrows took flight."
Your writing style is simply perfect for this world.
OMG.. and another LOTR/Buffy crossover!! WIth the first one I loved the description of Buffy and how she puts her finger against her lips... It adds to the mystery of ther person in the darkness and someone who is coming to help... I am assuming in the next chapter Buffy is leading the elves she rescued to help the dwarves... but what an entrance she makes!! I'm not familiar with the significance of the seven stars.. I really like how you are focusing more on the plight of those who are suffering and then introducing the rescurer in the final few sentences... It gives more of an impact because I felt sympathy for the warriors willing to die to let others lived and then their hope for salvation coming at a critical time... Can't wait for the next chapter!

---I like the imagery here.
So, Buffy comes along and destroys the orcs and what not that were plaguing that group of Mirkwood Elves. She becomes a part of their group-apparently their leader considering the imagery above- and has now come to save the Dwarves from the orcs and what not harassing them.
Nice. So, the story is growing on me a little. But I'm still really interested to see what happens in SuvwI'.

Ah, end of the Third Age, then. Gone badly, too, if the Gate of Erebor was broken, since they were only besieged. Interesting, very interesting. Want more, please and thank you!
