Nice story but there is a major problem. The stargate and its records where Classified. even after the gate its self is made public all records would still be for 10-20 years. Any studio would know this so they wouldn't risk it till that time is up due to wanting to stay out a prison. Using classified info to make a cartoon would put not only the production company in hot water but also the artist even after he gives his source. So wile it might get one episode aired the entire company from janitor to president would get locked up the next day.

Thanks for the review. After reading your review, I talked to a former Army captain. He told me that some material could be classified for 75 years or longer, but it could also be declassified as soon as the mission is over. He said missions might be classified to prevent mission failure, but once the mission is done, security is no longer concerned. I have to do a small rewrite for a typo, I will also try to add a line between O'Neill and Carter about the cartoon not touching on still classified material, so they can't get the govt to help track down the creator of the cartoon. Remember, in the show they had reporters interview SG-1 for eventual release to the press. SG-1's identity was going to be released. Thanks again for the input and I hope I can properly address your concern.

This is hilarious! Also surprisingly sad underneath, as the SGC is confronted with a parody of themselves and the events that were painful but which they took pride in. And Maybourne doing it all is brilliant. I also love the idea of no one knowing how the goa'uld are being defeated because all they see are these girls, and it couldn't possibly me them. Wonderful!

Thanks for the review. I tried to set the story early in the series so that it would not be after the major sacrifices SG-1 made for the world and seen as bashing. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Fun!
BTW, I'm thinking he dressed in drag and went as Anya for Halloween! If anyone could commercialize the Stargate Program, it would have been her ;)
Comments from author:
I think your review was funnier than my story. Thanks for the laugh.

Lol! I would have never thought that Mayborne's revenge would be so sweet. And funny. Thanks for a SG1 crossover story I would never have imagined in a million years.

Review:
Great story, well written.

Well thought out with a nice vein of humor running through it.

I disagree about it being done before, I think you have put enough differences in to make it your own. ie non-SGC run.

Please continue this theme.

Thanks

Lee

Very cute & funny. I hope you decide to do more on this. I'd like to see them get introduced to the slayer picture and adapt.

Great idea! Please write a sequel - with Xander!
Comments from author:
I've tried. It was horrible. Then I read tohonomike stories that are similiar to what I was trying and I realized my story was beyond horrible. I quickly printed my story and burned it. But thank you for the nice review.

Love the Slayer grafitti over Baal's dead body, and I suspected this cartoon might be the work of one Harry Maybourne, but poor SG1! It hurts to think of them being made fun of, even in a 'toon (though if this is just after season 3, they haven't yet suffered as much as they're going to for Earth and humans everywhere).
Comments from author:
I wanted it placed early enough in the series when they were still having fun with the Gate so that having it removed from their management would not be a slap in the face. Thanks for the kind words.
