I adore this fic. The prose is simply beautiful, and you are amazingly talented at capturing the feel of a particular time period. As a Classics scholar myself, I appreciate the amount of detail and background you put into all your fics. My only regret is that there isn't more! :)

A girl was standing there. A girl as small and slender as the stem of an asphodel, a girl with eyes as green as the waters that lapped at the shores of my own Ithaca— .................. The girl's hair was a skein of gold, as if the Misshapen Himself had forged it. I had never seen anything like it before, and have only ever seen one other with anything like it since, and that was a man. It shone under the rose-kissed fingers of the Sun-bringer as I have seen Mistress's golden armbands glimmering in the light, armbands that she said were solid gold and gifted to her by Eetion when he had been younger and often coming home from wars. .................. A sister whose face could have been the Foam-arisen's own. ~ Exquisite description. Love this fic. Really hope real life and the muses permit you to get back to writing soon. :)

I love this story. The descriptions and the character interactions were very well-done. I would really like to see a sequel to this story. Maybe even this story told from Buffy's point of view. You are one of the best authors that I have read in a long time. Please keep up the excellent work.

This was just amazing! I don't think I've ever read such a creative and well-written fic, and I don't think I ever will. Your style is just great, and it left me craving for more. Do you intend to make a sequel or something? Because I'd really love that.
It is so unfair that I love every piece of yours that I read. Very nice work on this. The point of view of the slave is a very good choice. Her mindset and the overall tone was fantastic. Realistic attitudes on the family's part also. Bravo. Will this turn into a series? *Hopeful smile and puppy dog eyes*

I'm very happy to see another Troy story and even happier to see that it's a response to my own challenge *hugs and squees and all that* :D I was grinning silly when I realised this was going along the lines of my challenge. It started off a little confusing because of the POV but it flows nicely and now I really really want to know what happens next ;)
