A muich different, yet interesting way of dealing with Dracula. I think that these three will have the Vampire community in Sunnydale running for the hills in no time.

I think it's going to be the entire demon community who'll be running for their lives shortly - not just the vampires. ;-)

I see from your other review responses that your further inspirations haven't managed to coalesce yet. Since I only got to this on my track list today, just thought I'd let you know that there's still interest, if ever things do come together and you have time to write them. :-)

Thanks for reviewing. Glad you enjoyed the story.

WOW!!! This opens up so many possibilities. I really hope you are working on the sequel. You have set up a very intriguing storyline, but left so much hanging. Can't wait to see how Giles will react -- will he fall back on his Watcher training or will he have an opened mind??? What about Oz -- could he be brought into the "Pack" as a werewolf -- maybe they could help him gain control of his beast. Maybe they could even help Cordy if she was somehow including in the "Pack:????
So much to think about -- Please write more soon!!!

Sorry to take so long to respond, but I've been doing a lot of travel for work. ;-(
Glad you enjoyed the story, and my muse does have some ideas for a follow-up floating around in the back of my mind, but they're not close enough to write - yet.
And as far as Giles is concerned, remember that he was fired for having a 'father's concern' for Buffy during her Cruciamentum, so I doubt he would nark on his 'children' to the Council, once he realizes and accepts what's happened to them.
Thanks for reviewing.

interesting. Reminiscent of Siege's "Blood Moon Rising."
Comments from author:
Thanks. That similarity hadn't occurred to me when I was writing it, but now I can see why you mention it, and I consider it high praise since I really enjoy that series.

You mentioned in a line of this story that Ms. Calender was involved in something. Shouldn't she already be dead? I happen to think this makes a very good prologue for a larger story in whatever series you are planning to create with this. I look forward to future installments of this series.
Comments from author:
Jenny is alive and will be figuring in the stories that follow this one. I just need to find the time to write them. ;-)

Wait a minute...this story is complete!?!?!?!PLEASE tell me it's the first part of a series, there's so much you left hanging. I mean beyond the whole Giles reaction to the news and all, what's with Ms. Calendar being alive? And there's the hints dropped about Cordy's headache/vision situation, I got the impression she was still in Sunnydale. Plus, this is the whole Glory/Dawn season, isn't it? How will this all affect that? I really hope you do continue this.
Comments from author:
Well, this part of the story is complete. I will say that I have more planned, but have no idea when it will show up.
As far as when this is set, it's the very beginning of Season Three, but it's already AU because of things that happened back at the end of Season Two.
I really hope you will get inspired to either write a sequel or expand this story.

Hehehe. They really learned their lesson from all those horror movies. Dismember, stake, behead, dissolve. A job well done!
Comments from author:
Yep. All those hours of cinematic enjoyment have taught them that the only good monster is one whose parts are scattered all over the landscape, and either burning brightly or bubbling away in acid. ;-)
