As the team was looking for survivors, I kept expecting Xander to pop out of the forest...I don't usually read stories that are this...jaded... but it was exceptional and gave me shivers at times.
I'll definitely keep an eye out for the next story.

Whoa! Very dark, angsty and full of grim hopeless determination. A chilling tale. A horror story of the finest tradition. I enjoyed it very much, even as I shuddered and cringed. As a side note, it would be interesting to see Willow's reaction if she could get a selection of 'visuals' of the life she doomed her so-called best friend to.

Well, I hate Sora now. That's for sure. But I do understand where she's coming from. The lesser of two evils I suppose. I'm interested in reading what happens next! Although the prospect of reading anything connected with slash doesn't inspire enthusiasm in me... (Who will be involved in it anyway? John? Rodney? Xander?) I'm not homophobic, one of my best friends is gay. I just don't like reading it.
Comments from author:
No no, it's alright, I get it. I used to be like that before and, honestly, I'm still a little like that about femmeslash too. It does involve Xander and it does involve Rodney, but not John. John's too straight in the canon, I think, but Rodney and Xander have had moments of sexual ambiguity. I know it probably disappoints you and, honestly, I think you should avoid the next story if you don't like slash. The slash is a sidpoint of the story, not a driving point of the plot, but it's still apparent and it's not hiding. Thanks for reading and reviewing this story.
