Review of chapter "A Little Embarrassment Is Good For The Soul" from Selonianth
Review:
Made me ponder a world where the two quit Eureka to go to the SGC.

Review of chapter "Some Things Stay the Same" from Orion
Review:
Great! These are fun. Thanks for writing! Also, wish that Zoe was on more often. I know it makes sense for her to be off at college, but this was only the second time we've seen her in the new reality. Jack and Zoe's conversation wasn't the only possible tag for this episode, so I'm glad you chose it.

Review of chapter "Where The Streets Have No Name" from Eureka
Review:
So sign stealage was going on today.. LOL Hmmm...the ability of a song to get you to do what you normally wouldn't do..Gov't would love that!
Comments from author:
No sign stealage on the show, just my imagination. But lots of people acting out as a result of whatever they happened to be listening to that morning. *grin* I just didn't have anything to add to the 'major' storylines this time.

Review of chapter "Ho Ho Home Sweet Home" from Eureka
Review:
And here I was thinking you quit writing. I love getting to read these since I no longer get to watch TV.
Comments from author:
Nah; the season was just on really severe delay, and the tag community didn't do anything for the holiday special. But I'm not going to start back up with this week's without covering the gap, so. =)

Glad you're enjoying the stories!

Review of chapter "A Blessing In Each Trial" from (Past Donor)DonSample
Review:
> It was almost, almost, enough to make him nostalgic for his
> days with the Fugitive Retrieval Task Force. No crazy
> scientists threatening the stability of the timeline. No former
> felons dating his daughter

Of course, back when he *was* in the FRTF, his daughter *was* a felon. (Almost...if her dad wasn't a cop, and able to bail her out of her troubles, she would have been.)
Comments from author:
Too true. I think he tries very hard not to remember those days, these days, now that they're much closer and she's suddenly a Good Girl. (I was kind of surprised when the topic didn't come up in-show when she did start "dating" Zane, but I guess anything Longer Ago Than Yesterday and Not World-Threatingly Important that isn't mentioned as Previously On Eureka is too much to expect the audience to remember).

Review of chapter "A Blessing In Each Trial" from (Past Donor)DonSample
Review:
I was kinda hoping that this episode would end with Jack stranding Grant II back in 1947, and finding himself back in Eureka on Founder's day...with a granite statue of Archimedes, Henry's single, Zane is Jo's boyfriend, Fargo is Allison's assistant, but once again, Jack's no longer with Allison. (And maybe there's some rich old guy in the new universe who's the other Jack, who took the slow path back to the 21st century, and has been secretly manipulating things from behind the scenes.)

Henry must be bummed: he can't use time travel to save his girlfriend without ripping the universe apart, but Jack got to use it to save Allison.
Comments from author:
On a purely story-logic-level, I do agree with you; but on an emotional level I would have SCREAMED if Jack and Henry suddenly both lost their significant others after spending the last few months finally getting to be happy. I would prefer if they had never, ever gone to 1947 in the first place. But-- this is the canon they've left us with. So. Making the best of it. =)

Perhaps I'll continue my smallfandom bigbang story into an alternate Season 4, eventually...

Review of chapter "We Lie Loudest When We Lie to Ourselves" from DigiEmissary
Review:
"I'm scared that I'm not going to be enough for Allison-- not quick enough, smart enough, considerate enough, whatever-- and she's going to leave me, just like everyone else has."

That's exactly what I felt he should have said on the show, so it's nice to see it somewhere. :)

Review of chapter "What's Done Is Done" from Scrappychic
Review:
Great job. I love Jo's reaction! I'd comment more, but all my comments are too interwoven with the next Episode. So, for those who haven't seen it yet, I'll stop talking now. Waiting patiently for next weeks post. ;)

This feels right - Jo is getting the worst deal out of the changed timeline. I'm hoping the next episode or two will help a little.
