Review:
oh my goodness... I found myself envisioning that horrible red field. Graphic and frightful description - well crafted. It also gave me a very clear idea what the various people were feeling.

The irony of Angel's guilt in this was darkly amusing. Instead of feeling terrible for all the people that he's killed and tormented, he was feeling guilty for someoen that he spared. But Fred was right - there was no way for him to know. That's part of what makes life so unpredictable.

Review:
What a very interesting way to bring Angel into the HP world. i greatly enjoyed the inner battle you presented, the struggle to do good in the face of an unbelievable past mistake that seemed like a triumph at the time. Elegantly written, with a wonderful appearance by Fred, so terribly underused in fics. Nicely done all around.

Wow, this was awesome! No wasted words, very spare and bleak, but seething with emotion just the same. Characterization is spot on, and his tender affection for Fred is perfect. Something to be v. proud of.
