Quick comment - the Daleks from PotW were descended from the Emperor Dalek, which had survived the war, not the lone guy from the episode Dalek. That one killed itself at the end, after mutating.

Non-human champion, so I guess maybe she sort of qualifies to wear it. And who knows, maybe will re-appear back in her own dimension. Or something. Had me there -for a second I thought a pocket watch would show up amongst Spike's possessions. A vamped gallifreyan would be very of the weird. Who knows maybe all this ties into the origin of the Key. Or something.

I sure hope Rose won't turn out to have this pocket watch she's 'always' had with her. hee...... Nice story, and very nice to see her relation turn out to be a minor character for once instead of the usual Buffy or Faith.....
