Review of chapter "About Her" from CustomeHeroine
Review:
Wow, very interesting story. I'm already wrapped up in it, and I really hope that isn't the end. Would Kristen really be so ready to let Faith go like that? I don't know, but I would really like to see more if you still have the muse. Either way, you did a great job.

Review:
Excellent! The plot thickens. And how ironic that Kirsten is suspicious that her own daughter is hiding something...

Review:
Call me a pessimist, but this can't end well... heh. At this point in her life Faith is a real mess, hasn't killed the deputy mayor yet, but she's emotionally damaged to a major degree (no surprise there, considering her background)...
Still, will wait to see what happens next--the big secret will be out soon, probably...
Comments from author:
Huh...

Well you have to remember that this fic, kind of goes outside of the realm of the show. Yes, Faith is pretty emotionally damaged, however, I believe in people transcending their environments, which is why I chose Faith for this.

Faith really becomes a different person after killing the deputy mayor and yes, she still is damaged before that, however, it is still nowhere near the same. In my eyes she's really just a girl looking for some sort of affection (and later redemption). Being in Sunnydale allows her to wallow, but pluck her out of that environment and you get a different person.

Just like, if you put Buffy in Faith's environment growing up, you'd get a different blonde slayer (and someone who would also be different than Faith).

Does this make sense? I'm not sure. I'm just trying to write out what I'm thinking, which can be hard.

This is a story of someone seeking out something themselves, not waiting for it come to them.

Faith changes for the better through out the course of both Buffy and Angel. Yes, this occurs after her kick of craziness, but the point is she has the capacity to change.

Who is to say that she can't change before she goes off the deep end?

In other words, yes, I would call you a pessimist. Things may not go easy, but they most certainly can end well.

[Did this make sense?]

Review:
Don't feel dumb for forgetting Hailey! Anyone who hasn't missed some detail of canon at one point or another hasn't written very much fanfic! You're doing a great job here and there's NO need to apologize for an oversight you promptly fixed. :) More, soon?

I really like your story. Overall not to bad with oc/btvs. Sometimes Drama shows like One tree hill and dawsons creek, they don't really mix well with Btvs. Just because the differences and style of each show. (ex, orange and apples). To me it seems easier and more realistic to connect shows with btvs with supernatural or stargate. (ex, green apples and red apples). All I am trying to say is kudos to you.

Review of chapter "A Telenovela Indeed" from (Past Donor)LiastraLee
Review:
I like the story, although I will reiterate the question about the missing sister. Especially since she dated Jimmy and that adds to the telenovela aspect of it all.
Comments from author:
And I will reiterate what I said to littleoldme...

The whole only child thing has to do with fact that I haven't watched season one in a while and I kind of forgot about Hailey, in all honesty. I feel really dumb. I can understand your confusion.

Sorry.

Review:
I'll admit that I was surprised to see Faith depicted as the child given away- mainly because- with what we know about Faith's past- it's very hard to see Faith's parents both wanting a child and being approved for adoption. But the fact that you've acknowledged this through Faith's perspective on her own crappy luck, and the details you've worked out to make this feasible (like Kirsten giving birth in Cape Cod, rather than California) do enough that I can suspend my disbelief. Overall, this is a wonderful fic. I think the title and the corresponding line in the story feels a little off/forced, but I like your characterizations a lot.

One canon question though- why does Kirsten seem to think that before Lindsay, she was an only child? What about Hailey (Kirsten's younger sister who appears in multiple seasons, including season 1)?
Comments from author:
The whole only child thing has to do with fact that I haven't watched season one in a while and I kind of forgot about Hailey, in all honesty. I'm really, really (unbelievably actually) glad that you mentioned this, because now I have to go fix it. I feel really dumb. I can understand your confusion.

Sorry.

Hi. Good story. It is a bit disorienting with the different points of view, but that's useful in making the reader feel confused like the characters sometimes. I hope to read more soon, and see where you're going with this.
