My favorite line in this story came from the previous chapter: '“Zoë!” Mal called as he walked back inside. “Did Jayne take any grenades with him when he left?”' (So VERY much in character for Zoe, Mal, AND Jayne!).

Looking forward to reading the next episode, if you decide to pick it up again.

All I'm saying right now is that Glowy Lady is a BtVS character and there is a hint as to who in this story. Glad you liked it enough to read them both straight through. I'm hoping to have the next episode started by Christmas.

Well, not so much the assumption that Xander is Xander without DNA evidence.

That comes off as poorly done. How many humans are there and how many have looked like Xander by this point in time? Thousands!

Only Jayne....:) I'm glad that Xander is finally starting to find his place in the future, he deserves to be happy. I hope he tells the crew his story, but there is a big chance that they won't believe him...
And just who is that new evil dude? Is he the new Big Bad?

Love the updates! I am glad that Jayne was able to help Xander! I love Jayne's reason of why he has to stay, "The glowy lady said so"!!! So like him too! Sorry Jayne is my favorite character out of Firefly....the story is great so far! Keep up the great work and thanks for updating!

Thanks. The Tam siblings are my favourite Firefly characters, but I had a surprising amount of fun writing Jayne. So much so that he now plays a more prominent role in 'Lost in Serenity'. I even plotted an entire episode revolving around Jayne's past and exploring the character of Lily I introduced in this episode.
