Review of chapter "Chapter One" from Arsaotome
Review:
Now, I checked out this story and I'm in agreement with the majority in saying that is was too short. It was a good read.

Review:
Short and to the point, and I can see a totally shellshocked Xander ending up sounding like a Evil Hobbit (as in one of Glory's crew).

Still, it's TOO short and a bit bashing on just about everything.

No offense, that's just how I see it.
Comments from author:
I can understand how it seems that way.

But try to keep in mind that the challenge was written in a way to have Buffy as a First age Solar.

They went completely mad to the point that they would magically alter children so that they made different musical notes when they cried out from the pain of torture.

They were not good people at all.

So Buffy killing pretty much everyone and enslaving them is not far fetched. It is just how she would be in those circumstances.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from Satori
Review:
Okay, so if BUffy is powerful enpugh to OMGWTFPWN! every baddie in the whedonverse, what the hell is the point of setting this in the BTVS setting anyway?

You;d have better practice setting this is some equally over the top power-setting, like TTGL, DBZ, or WH40K.
Comments from author:
I just followed the Challenge as I saw it. Buffy was a Solar from the First Age. The First Age Solars are so freaking powerful that this was the only possible outcome. Also the challenge didn't say anything about the great curse, so she obviously still suffered from it or she probably would not have killed all of the innocent people in Sunnydale.

It is a challenge response that is all.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from Jennarai
Review:
lol. I knew with that first sentence it was Xander who was the scribe. =D

Now, I'm wondering what Exalted!Buffy would do if she went up against Glory... or the First. And the other governments reaction to having America overthrown by one female with a shitload of power.
Comments from author:
Honestly, who could have pulled it off better than Xander?

The First would be a cake walk, Buffy could hit it, but it couldn't do anything to her. Hell odds are Buffy would just devour the firsts essence. Glory wouldn't be able to do much about Buffy either, when a Solar is that old they are the essence of perfection. Think of it this way, Buffy can parry a nuclear blast or a beam of gamma radiation, or something equally ridiculous. Solar exalted are stupid powerful at that age and no army can beat them realistically (as realistic as a fantasy game can be anyway), so the governments of the world are probably rushing to the dry cleaners to get the mess in their pants cleaned.

Hah. And, I say again, hah!

Couldn't stop chuckling - way to turn the challenge on its head!

Also, that's my read on what would likely happen - the Solar Exalted would have been a bit aggressive, even for Illyria's tastes. hmm... Illyria as an exalted, that has possibilities...
Comments from author:
Who knows Illyria may actually be an Exalt, after all we know there are 50 Infernal Exalts out there, we just dont know what they are or what they do.
