::snicker:: There's a reason Pride and Greed are among the Seven Deadly Sins. That's a beautiful bit of muggle concept introduction and I wonder how long it'll take before it gets caught, if it does.
Comments from author:
Well, given the typical IQ of the Wizarding World, it shouldn't take more than another seventy or eighty years, and another four or five repetitions of this scheme (against the same people) before they finally catch on. ;-)

Excellent! The bigotry and conceit of the 'recipients' practically guarantees them to be paupers in no time at all.
I've always enjoyed your stories whether they be HP or BtVS and look forward to reading many more.

Thanks for reviewing, and glad you enjoyed the story.
I can't see the WW Purebloods acting any other way, should something like this ever happen, and I can easily see this occurring to either Harry or Hermione, especially if they received any sort of phone solicitation while they were home during summer vacation. ;-)

Wait 'til you see what happens when the Twins figure out how to connect automatic phone dialers to the floo service so they can get the equivalent of taped phone solicitors. ;-)

-- Just wait 'til they figure out how to connect the floo network to automatic phone dialers. ;-)
How about they research the origins of floo travel, discover that one of the first versions required users to answer questions rematerialize on the other side, then reimplement the 'feature' using questions rooted solidly in the Muggle world, so anyone without Muggle experience would just vanish from reality stuck forever in a floo if they used it? ;)
Or pull a Monty Python Holy Grail thing to decimate floo users at random... Nah, that'd just be mean :)
..
Whoa. 10k entry fee? Cool, but that's so totally a pyramid scheme. Just send 10k requests out to 10 finalists, pay 25k prize to /one/ of them and collect 75k profit? (minus the vacation package of course). And that's if they weren't just pretending to be legit :D
Nice numbers. I'm happy his vanity fell for it :)

The wizards and witches in the Wizarding World don't seem to be blessed with an overabundance of wisdom, do they? Which is probably one reason the Twins have been so successful as they've been, I think. ;-)
Anyway, glad you enjoyed the story. Any follow-ups are going to depend upon how my muse feels.
