Very nice blending of the two canons. And I love that you put such a focus on Janet- she's exactly what Buffy would need post-Sunnydale. She's a lot like Joyce was (after she got over the shock of the supernatural anyway) in all the best ways. Shame that Xander was the only Scooby that really got to visit. Love the idea of baby Dawnie. It actually makes more sense in a lot of ways. Sure, people look after siblings, but children are even more protected. All in all, a very good fic, thanks for writing.

I reread this story for about the tenth time, so I thought I should at least add another review. The main reason I like this so much is because the way you write Dawnie, but your characterization of all the other characters is also spot on.

Teal'c adds a lot of humor to the story and of course Jack is always a fun character, but the way you wrote Janet ... well the way you wrote Janet is the best I've ever read in any story I've read. She's one of the heroes in the story, helping Buffy work through all her baggage and straighten herself out a bit.

I see you mentioned writing more stories in this 'universe' but I guess life gets in the way of plans, but if you ever decide to write more, I'll definitely read it. I like your writing style ... getting the plot through with a lot of humor and something else that hard to describe, but when I read this story (even though I almost know it be heart now) I find I can't stop reading till I'm finished.

Thanks for writing this and I hope you'll at least think about writing a sequel.

I read this story a few months ago and the stories I was reading now just sucked, so I decided to read it again. I was not disappointed, I still loved it. Dawn as a four year old is just too cute and the way she interacted with Teal'c is fantastic. I thought it could have really been fun if she interacted with Thor, an even tougher cookie to break than Teal'c. What would he do if Dawnie hugged him, could be interesting and could she manage to wrap him with her charms and cuteness. Still what you wrote is just better than my imagination and I do so thank you for sharing it. I'll read it again in a year or so and I'm sure it will still be great.
