Can't tell you how often I read this story and still find it funny it puts a big grin on my face. It's sad that it was only one shot and there are not a few more. I would love to read how the tech-lab will need Buffy to explain how she altered the crossbow. How she beats the other cadets who think she is easy to put down. Oh so many things I want to read but I don't think that's gone happen so I will do with this story.

Thanks! Agent Ian Edgerton is from Numb3rs. He's a sniper who trains the FBI cadets at Quantico when he's not chasing down bad guys. He was in episodes Sniper Zero, Spree, Pandora's Box, and a couple others I'm not remembering right now. http://redhawke.org/content/view/17/11/

love this so much I think buffy as an cadet then Ian calling her in to work on a case with the numb3rs crew would be a great story you wrote them beautifully here

Oh! Crossbows aren't strength-based, so it's shooting farther because Buffy modified it using her weapon sense/training and not because she's the Slayer. Sorry, got mixed up in my previous review. Still cool
One thing though:
--Buffy frowned angrily. "He pulled my shirt off!"
Should be in its own stand-alone paragraph, as it is you have it coming on the same line as Edgerton's speech.

Anytime I need a laugh or am suffering from Edgerton withdrawl I come right to this fic. It's just to cute and funny! I hope you plan to continue or write a sequel.
OMG! I so didn't know that rifle existed! lol! Yeah, I just know that Buffy would want that rifle, if only to annoy her boss Edgy. lol! Oh, I so have to use that rifle in yet another Fed!Buffy ficlet.
