Review of chapter "Incomplete Buffy/Supernatural/Marvel Comics cross" from CPTSkip
Both fragments were interesting and sort of confusing. Lol! Thanks for the snippets you gave us. A six and half foot tall Buffy? Hummmmmm.
Comments from author:
Thanks for commenting. If you have any suggestions about the ideas, I'm open to hearing pretty much anything you have to say.

Review of chapter "Incomplete Buffy/Supernatural/Marvel Comics cross" from (Current Donor)dogbertcarroll
I loved how the Executioner died defending Thor and the others against the legions of the dead and always hoped something more would be done with his character until I saw how Marvel pulled the same useless crap with him they'd done before his last stand.

Buffy is over six foot? Must have eaten and drank while in Asgard.
Comments from author:
Yeah, Skurge really got a raw deal from Marvel.

As far as an explanation for Buffy's changes is concerned, I have none. If you feel like it, go ahead and write your own story explaining what happened. I can think of at least three different ones off the top of my head immediately, but I'd like to see what other people think happened.

Review of chapter "Incomplete Buffy/Supernatural/Marvel Comics cross" from (Past Donor)Skyefather
well old buddy the only real problem I see is that buffy isn't six and a half feet tall other then that looks good.
Comments from author:
As I indicated in the preface, this was a fragment of a dream I had. The explanation for the change in Buffy's height (and other dimensions) is left up to anyone who liked to offer one. ;-)

Review of chapter "Brothers in Arms" from chaggett
I somehow missed this story when you first entered it eleven days ago.

It is an interesting premise. I hope that you take it further.
Comments from author:
Thanks for reviewing. At the moment, I have no further plans to continue it, which is why I posted it under this title, but that could change if my muse gets any new ideas.

Review of chapter "Brothers in Arms" from TroyGuffey
Haven't read those books in a while, but from what I remember it sounds in character. I'll have to remember to read them (God bless the Baen CDs (web-sourced))

What ARE they up to?
Comments from author:
Are you talking about the people at Baen or the characters?

'Cause I have no idea for the first question and only a suspicion about the second. ;-)

Review of chapter "Brothers in Arms" from CPTSkip
Wow! I'm not sure where you were planning on going with this story, but the beginning is terrific. I'm also not sure how the Scoobies could have held off an invasion, but I guess it is now just a nice mental puzzle left to the reader to try and solve. Lol!
Comments from author:
Thanks for reviewing, man.

As far as the story was concerned, in the second chapter, I would have shown that the Bugs were followed back by a mixed group of Alliance personnel, and the portal equipment then destroyed, a la Terminator, and the plot would have been shifting back and forth between the Scoobies trying to stop the First from opening the Seal and release his minions, and also trying to help locate and destroy the Bugs before they could get a nest established.

Review of chapter "Brothers in Arms" from ghostwhowalks
The freakish thing about this is that I read this fic for the very first time yesterday morning over on the Xanderzone archive.

I think it was very well written in the style of the books, but if people aren't familiar with Starfire, or "In Death Ground", or "The Shiva Option", you've got a lot of people wondering what's going on.

I would like to see more of course, I think I know where you are going with this in a rather vague way - perhaps something like the "The Apocalypse Troll" - or I could be totally wrong. Away this story means that my "A Far Future Pep Talk" isn't the only Buffy/Starfire story out there.

Comments from author:
First off, thanks for reviewing, it's much appreciated.

Second, you're right, the cross was somewhat obscure, at least as far as other Scooby-verse fans were concerned, and the response to it was minimal, so Danyel and I decided not to continue further with the story.

You're mostly right about the very general direction of the plot, although the 'rescue party' was going to consist of a mixed party of Alliance personnel, with a surplus of Orions to it. ;-)

I'm sure you can guess how well the initial encounter between the Scoobies and their visitors was going to go, ;-)

And I also have to say that I liked your own Starfire cross. Buffy was exactly as I would have expected her to be. ;-)

Review of chapter "Brothers in Arms" from CEEGEE
An interesting beginning, though I'll be honest I'm not sure exactly what this was a cross over with. I'm assuming Starship Troopers is one of the fandoms involved here but not positive. Still wish this had been an update of 'Prophecies' though!
Comments from author:
AS I noted in the disclaimer, it was a crossover with the 'Starfire' universe, a science fiction series written by David Weber and Steve White. It's a great series, but since it's most definitely military science fiction, it's not for most people.

As far as Prophecies goes, mu muse has been ignoring that lately. ;-( Although I've gotten a page or two written, it's not nearly enough to post. Hopefully, that will change soon.
