Very interesting work on the story.

The ending seemed to fall apart a bit, because the portion where Chloe is missing is not actually resolved "on screen" until the epilogue. Just seems to be a little loose thread hanging onto an excellent story. Good writing.

I loved this.
I absolutely can't believe I'm saying this about a fic that was neither Bangel nor Chlark, but the truth is, I do.
I loved the Xander-Lucy pairing, there was something so amazing, so...real, about it.
I absolutely loved it.
I must admit I would have been much happier with my favorite pairings, but it really doesn't lessen how great a work you did here. And believe me, it's once in a blue moon that I really like a fic with none of my favorite couples.
This fic also kinda reminded, in some of its basic details, of one I've read, which is my favorite of all time: Affirmative Action. Though the couples are rather different: Chlark, Lollie, Luart (though this one is onl insinuated), and the basic here is the foundation of the Justice League.
Anyway, I digress, I really liked your fic.
Hope you'll write more stories as good as this one.

It's just that good. Well played, good emotions, and the General Lane angle caught me totally off guard, if this were a movie it would be an instant classic we'd show our kids.

Great story! Maybe a sequel where buffy finds someone, in the Justice League? heh. Or maybe Supergirl shows up, and is a slayer to boot..... she's from Krypton, born & raised unlike Clark. Maybe there's a mystical tradition from Krypton he doesn't know about. Or something..

That was a completely satisfying story from start to finish.
