I remember the comic and Alexander the Spaceknight's powers should be quite effective against Vampires. Should make things interesting if you cross this with Stargate.

What would the differences be between the Wraith from Stargate in comparison to the Marvel Wraiths?
I seem to remember that the ones the Spaceknights fought, used magic. Perhaps a few have ended up in Sunnydale and it should make things interesting when they start making a move against the Sunnydale Hellmouth.

*chuckles* None taken. It was a comic series that lasted for 75 issues and 4 annuals over the space of six and a half years in the late seventies - early eighties.

Well written, but it leaves too many questions.

That's one hell of an opener, gosh, I haven't read Rom for so long. This fic brings back memories. Keep up the good work.

I remember the series, although I never read it. I know that Rom eventually got his human form back.

Hm, yes, Xander is most definately in for it. As I recall a spaceknight was a cyborg, with only a human brain. Without their homeworld he's pretty thoroughly stuck.

Nice. I remeber that character. :) Pool Xander is in for a real change in world view, since the space knights aren't even completely human any more, and near immortal to boot. Talk about getting a raw deal.

Great story, but I have to say... do not leave us hanging! Please continue this, I never was to into ROM when it was published but have grown to really enjoy it lately; so I beg of you, please, please continue this!

I believe I remember the comic. Sometime in the late 70's or early 80's called ROM. I recall, because some politician complained about the comic just being an advertisement for a toy. The toy didn't sell long, and got cancelled. The comic remained for a while, but couldn't show the character in it's armored form anymore due to not having rights to that image, so it eventually got cancelled.

i loved the series. I hope you do more as this tale has a lot of potential and has not been done before.

I liked it, it's nice that someone else remembered Rom, I always did like those comics
