This was a really fun story. It's hard for me to find a YAHF that I can stand for more than a few hundred words, but once I figured out where you were going with the story, I simply had to stick around. With Spike and Dru dead, I wonder how the rest of this alternate reality will play out.
Spikes demise was a little confusing. I think I missed something, even though I read it twice.

I would love to see a sequel to this. Maybe the Chaos magic made Xander a Teen Tubro-style shapeshifter. Like everytime he gets hot (Temperature wise, not hot as in chika-bow-wow.) he turns into the Mystery Machine and everytime he gets cold he turns back into Xander.
I lov the back of the van being empty. That was a nice touch.

Hey! Personally, I happen to think that Christine was a good evil car...It was the driver that was the problem...the ghost driver that is. But, still I love the story. Not many people think of that original a costume.
Now if only more people had original ideas like that, or at least original interpretations of the same old ideas.

Great story. Great ending, although the description of Ethan's injuries may have been a tad on the gory side for the overall tone of the story. The bit when Buffy was so ... happy about how comfy her seat was was just so absurd, it makes me laugh even now to think about it.
