This is really good! If you're planning on making this a series, it's nice to see a gradual romance--if that's what you're going for--instead of an almost immediate relationship. The atmosphere between Jean-Claude and Buffy is amazing; it makes sense that he wouldn't treat Buffy like he treated Anita in the books. I also love the idea of Edward being Pike; I've never read that before! You're premise--Buffy being from ABVH'verse, not Buffy'verse--is interesting. All in all, it's a job well done! I do wish you'd consider making this a series...
Best of luck on your future writing.

Review of chapter "Chapter Five" from maxthehobbit
Review:
Guess this it for me, this Jean-Claude guy is just too gay for me and he seems to be the main character in this story.

Where does this Pike guy come in ... comic books, I've never seen him in the series, nor this Lothos big bad. I would look it up, but since I've been reduced to dial up ... google takes like 15 minutes to load anything.

I loved it. I just discovered this and devoured in one day. Ideally I would love a sequel, one that Buffy faces a new foe while settling in on this world with her new family but, if you can do that I would very much love a one shot where you explain the bond between her and Jean. Also one where we can see Dawn's reactions on her first fill weeks on this world would be awesome.
I truly enjoyed this! I really despise the way the AB books have morphed and adding Buffy into the first one was a great way to alter the dynamic. Any possibility we might see something in the future?

Thank you for sharing this, it has been immensely entertaining and one of the better characterizations of Buffy. As well for once Anita is actually well written.

Thank you for writing this great story. I love it from the beginning till the end.
But Darn I was waiting for the house they were gone buy. Just kidding.
I'm a little sad it ended already and truly hoping for some one chapter sequels where I can read how old and new friendships, some love affair's will develop.
A well I can always hope.
see you

thanks for the great story. i had to reread part of this to catch up as its been awhile. so far of all the Anita/Buffy stories I think yours is the best or close to it. so many of the others I've read are great Buffy stories but leave me wondering if the authors know Anita's character at all. I can't off hand think of any plot lines you have left dangling but if you write a sequel, I'll read it. thanks again

Thanks for the epilog. I like that Dawn came through, Buffy needed her; also someone from the other reality who knew about all she'd been through. I wonder how she'll 'explain' her... And hey, now she gets paid for being the slayer. Bliss! If she gets a few more marks she'll be scary strong. Jean Claude is playing for high stakes. I have to wonder what Dawn would be like with a few marks. Would her Key abilities get vastly stronger?...
