I think you captured Dexter's voice perfectly, and you most certainly captured Deb's voice exactly. ;-)
If the whim ever strikes you, I'd love to see Dexter setting his sights on Lex Luthor as his target. It would most certainly be along-term project (on both Dex's and your parts), but I am certain you could pull it off as well as your other work.

Well done. I only have a vague idea of who Dexter is and what he does (mostly from this site) and the only reason I read it was because you wrote it, Marcus.
The quality of the writing, as always, was excellent.

An excellent story as always. I don't watch Dexter so I don't know how faithful you are to the characters but your writing is so good that I'll read all your stories even if I don't know the material being crossed. Certainly the plot made sense and seeing Dexter struggle with not telling too much was fascinating. Keep up the good work.

It's too bad this is a over, I really would have enjoyed watching little Ahab try hunting down his white whale. Well written and managed to keep Dexter in character something a lot of authors can't pull off.

Good one. The obvious candidate for who did the hacking is Luthor himself. If everyone thinks he's dead, no one will be looking for him. Maybe you could do a follow-up where Dexter catches up with Luthor.

I think that they have the right explanation. Of course sooner or later Luthor will decide that he's had enough of government hospitality and split, leaving a trail of corpses behind him. But I really doubt I'll be writing it.

This was just terrific. You captured the TV version of Dexter prefectly, IMHO. And, just like the TV series, you made me laugh out loud several times. I especially liked: "I think that asshole Caine at Dade County handled that." Lol!
