Oh my, quite an exciting and intense chapter.
I'm glad for the little progress that Xander and Angel made in their relationship.

I loved that moment between Angel and Xander and how it helped Xander gain control of his magic. The showdown between him and Snape was excellent. I'm hoping that Xander and Angel will be able to have happiness without bringing out the demon. Looking forward to reading more.

Excellent chapter! I liked the kissing scene, as well as the interaction between Severus, Minerva and Angel. The explanation for how Angel is able to walk in daylight, as well as Snape's role in it, was very well done.

Not liking Dumbledore. But then again I'm in the middle of reading dark manipulative Dumbledore stories. Go through fads on them. Can Angel ever have a relationship without the angst? Poor Xander having to save the world (again) & the main player doesn't trust him. Is this the Watcher's Council all over again? They ruled their weapons & murdered them when they weren't compliant. Liking the story. Looking forward to further updates. Thankyou.

You know, I'm getting that a lot about Dumbledore. Which is weird because I'm really not intending him to be evil. He's just so old, he's convinced he knows best, and he has this thing about individual people never being worth jeopardizing the greater good. Yeah, there are definite similarities between him and the Watcher's Council; I'd never really thought of it that way before. He's usually one of my favorite characters, even if that doesn't come through here.

Bits and pieces here and there (thanks for the sunproofing potion info) that will eventually come together in one heck of an explosion I suspect. They really need to find a way to bind Angel's soul so he and Xander can get together like they should be. I suspect such a binding will be an important development for the finale.
