Is Buffy sure about that? Lol. I so enjoyed this story. It made me laugh and even cringe with Xander during his moments of uncertainty and panic. I enjoy the fact that even though this was one chapter, the progression was very clear cut. It doesn't leave me wanting more in the sense that it's incomplete but more in the sense of 'Hey, I SO wouldn't knock a sequal'. :-D I get the sense that Giles was Mal or is he just loving the drink? And it makes me wonder about the other costumes, yet I get this bit is complete. Am I making sense? Am sleepy and I'm rambling.

My favorite thing in this-other than the characterization-is the FRIENDSHIP! I love that suddently they're not all lovey and dovey. There was the avoidance, and then a slow progression of buddies. Of guns and plastic dino's. I always thought that Cordy and Xander had the ability to be good friends if they let each other, even after their break up.

PLEASE tell me this is going to continue??? An awesome start, and it would be so cool to see how this could grow! Does Xanders skills crossover to flying current aircraft? Is he a worldclass car driver? What were they doing on the computer? So many questions!

This was absolutely beautiful. I loved this re-imagining of 'Halloween' even more than the canon version. And, even better, I never noticed parallels between post-Hellmouth!Cordelia and Zoe, but now they're visible, if not prominent. I wish there was a favoriting mechanism on this site so I could save this one, but I CAN save it to my hard drive. *glee*

I can easily 'see' Xander as Wash, as well as Cordelia as Zoe!!! :)
Though Mal & River are my favorite characters on that show, I HATED that Wash died in 'Serenity'!! So it was nice how he got a little more time to live, & that Zoe had one more time with her hubby.

Did she die two years after Wash?
Since his spirit seemed to of came into Xander after HIS death, it makes you wonder if Zoe's went into Cordelia's after hers.

Or Zoe could wake up from one hell of a drinking bender and when she tells everyone about her adventure as a white girl on 'Earth That Was', they could try an intervention..lol!
